King pastoria and queen Lurline

A lot of people enjoyed it and said they wanted to see more of the Oz universe I created, so today I'm bringing a little bit of the royal family's lore.
Just a reminder: all of this is my own canon, based solely on the aspects I like from the various versions of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
(In this version, Queen Lurline is not the same Lurline who created Oz. Her name was chosen as a tribute to the creator of everything.)
Lurline: As the only daughter of the Fairy King of Gillikin, who was a loving yet overprotective father, Lurline grew up surrounded by expectations and rules meant to shape her into the perfect ruler. However, her desire to explore the world and her naturally rebellious nature led her to constantly challenge the most important rule of all: never leave the castle.
Always accompanied by her lady-in-waiting and fellow student of magic, Glinda, the two decided to sneak out of the castle just once. During a walk across the plains of Gillikin, they came across a thin and frightened young man who was merely passing through the region. Soon afterward, they discovered that he was one of the princes of Emerald Fields: Ozmand Pastoria.
Pastoria: The youngest of seven siblings, he grew up under the pressure of never being able to surpass his brothers, whether in intelligence tests or physical aptitude. As the youngest son, he would never inherit the throne and therefore had little value to the palace. With this in mind, the king decided that he would be more useful by helping an allied nation, arranging for him to marry the eccentric daughter of a neighboring king: Princess Langwidere.
When he learned of this news, the young prince was on a diplomatic journey through Gillikin. Shocked by the revelation, he did not fully think through the consequences of suddenly running away. In his rush across the plains, he collided with the person who would become one of his closest friends and the love of his life: Lurline.
Many things unfold from that point on, but I think I'll save those stories for another post.
See you later!!

The song is in Portuguese, but you can view the translation using YouTube’s automatic subtitles tool.
I chose this song because of the melancholy feeling it conveys. It talks about a children’s game that will soon come to an end. I really recommend listening to it , it’s very good.
Is this a safe space to share personal work/fanfic?
This is my own version of Oz, meaning the entire canon came straight from my head. If anything seems confusing right now, it’s because I plan to explain it in the future. Follow me on Tumblr too!! Whenever I can, I post updates about the story there!
