I placed an order for a Narwhal Flow and a couple of hours later received the email below. It has the correct order number, but seems suspicious to me 🤷🏼♀️
Is this a real email?
Thanks!

Feeling safe and trusting 🥰 My heart is melting I’ve had her home a little over a week and the trust we are building grows each day.
I made a big batch of chop to freeze so I can quickly add it to the “nuts for Waldo” mix I have portioned out in the freezer and defrost each morning.
It has broccoli, green beans, carrots, bell pepper, jalapeño , cilantro, corn, peas, cinnamon, oregano, basil, cayenne. ( I think that’s everything 🤪)
How did I do?? Should I add anything else?
Would love some advice. My baby is about 12 weeks old and came home with me a week ago. I’ve had a a few different types of parakeets, but I’m a first time conure owner. I did a TON of research and kind of knew what I was in for, but sometimes until you have the bird at home with you all the research doesn’t mean a whole lot. When I bring my baby out she is very loving and puts her head in a position for scratches and wants to cuddle under my chin. She was hand fed and very loved on as a baby by a reputable bird breeder. So her wanting to just love makes tons of sense and she is still young. We have started with some basic training to keep her from getting bored. But in the last few days when I bring her out she wants to go straight to my shoulder and burry herself in my hair. I read that it means she feels safe and trusts me. But then she started to bite if I tried to get her out of my hair. So then I started wearing it up in a bun but she still finds a way to get up in the hair at the back of my head / neck and then gets a bit aggressive with her biting if I try to move her. When I bring her out she doesn’t want to do anything else but now go up on my shoulder and get into my hair.
I guess I’m trying to find out if this is normal or what I should do. The biting is getting harder which worries me that she’s getting territorial when she’s in my hair and this may be a bad thing.
Also any advice on treats for training? Shes not super treat driven (but does love positive words when she does something right) or I’m using the wrong things…. I’ve tried different nuts and seeds maybe I try some fruit?
My conure’s cage is in our living room. Around 8:30pm she goes up in the corner and puts herself to bed. I’ve been covering the cage as we don’t go to bed at 8:30. My husband stays up late and isn’t the quietest. I read Conures need 10-12 hours of uninterrupted sleep. I’m worried at she isn’t getting decent sleep until he finally goes to bed around midnight giving her only 6-7 hours of sleep. I asked him if he could be a little quieter and he said he isn’t changing how he lives for my bird. From what I have read I have 3 options:
Also from what I read a sleep cage or just letting her get use to the living room both has pros and cons….. any advice?? I’m sure I’ll get both sides but I’m so lost on what I should do.
Meet Lula aka Cholula. 4 days in from bringing her home and she is just the sweetest thing! Not sexed just she is easier haha.
