Context: King Princess has recently sparked controversy because she mentioned in a podcast that she sleeps with men "when she's bored", all while still claiming she's a lesbian.

I don't know about you, but lesbians are women who are sexually and romantically attracted to only women.

Some people are saying we shouldn't be policing labels and should just let King Princess be. But in my opinion, there's a reason why we have labels. There's a reason why the "LGBTQIA+" acronym exists in the first place.

Words. have. meanings.

If we can't stick to what our labels mean, how can we expect people outside of our community to, at the minimum, understand us?

I also think it's harmful to claim that you're a lesbian, especially with a platform like KP's, and still say you sleep with men. It feeds into the narrative that lesbians "just need to find the right man."

King Princess is many things, but she is certainly not a lesbian.

What are your thoughts?

i experienced limerence for someone (we're friends), lasted for two years, then it suddenly felt like a switch was turned off and i now feel repulsed at the thought of them.... curious if anyone has had a similar experience

May kausap akong pinoy, sa US nakatira, 30 years old. Sabi niya virgin pa raw siya. Tapos yung mga ex niyang babae ay lagi raw nagc-cheat sa kanya. May isang ex siya na more than 2yrs ata sila. Legit kaya o ginagago lang ako neto? Haha

when my partner and i get into a fight (suuuuper rare), she tells me she's suicidal and she self-harms.

she has been diagnosed with bipolar 2 with depression (isang beses palang siya nakaka-usap ng psychiatrist and eto yung initial diagnosis sa kanya).

anyway, nag take siya ng meds for 2 weeks pero di niya kaya yung side effects. di na rin siya bumalik ulit sa doctor.

how do i help her? nahihirapan na rin ako every time maririnig ko na gusto nalang niya mamatay. i listen to her and comfort her, and support in her in all the ways i can but sometimes i really don't know what to do. i told her i'm going to call a hotline para ma-put siya under surveillance (di ko sure if tama ba to?) kasi responsibility ko yun.

we do live together so i'm with her all the time. we've been together for more than 10 years na rin.
