Is this fixable or do I need a new printhead?

Is this fixable or do I need a new printhead?

Was trying to clean the printhead and I broke off this piece. Can I replace this part or is it connected to the main piece of the print head? (Epson 1430)

Do I need a new printer head? [epson artisan 1430]

Disclaimer I don’t know anything about printers. Bought an epson 1430 on fb marketplace for $150. The owner claimed it worked great.

The first test print has smears everywhere so I followed along on a printhead cleaning video with syringe and alcohol solution. I ran another few tests which are definitely an improvement but as you can see there are some weird color fades and a couple missing or misaligned lines.

The first pic is the alignment tool. It’s definitely not supposed to look like that right? It is still clogged somehow or is it probably damaged and I need to replace the whole printhead?

I have a design I made for a book cover I want to print. I made the project A2 paper sized. I realized I can fit the design on 13x19 paper which is cheaper and more accessible. How do I chance my project to 13x19 without changing the size of my layers?

I designed this printable cover for the 2024 handbook. It’s designed to be printable on A2 paper if you want to do a rebinding of your handbook yourself :). It’s meant to be mostly similar to the 1983 Redbox cover. Obviously a few differences. The old version just had a character sheet on the back so I took the text from the 2024 handbook and added that piece of art from the 83 manual(which I believe was also done by Elmore. Correct me if I’m wrong).

I haven’t had a chance to print myself but I will update once I make a version for myself.

I’m also working on some covers inspired by the 1e ad&d covers for the handbook, dm handbook, and monster manual if anyone is interested in those, i will post in the coming days.
