Hi.
Something I've never been able to figure out is the Smart Charging. Despite what it says here, my phone has seemingly never learnt from my charging habits.
Typically, I'll stick it on charge before sleep and take it off charge when I get up in the morning. Despite this, the phone still charges at full speed, and can often be done within the hour of putting it on charge. It has never slowed it self down, never deferred from 80% and always stays at 100% rather than letting it drop to 95% like I've seen another setting say.
I do use my phone a fair amount some days but I'm also noticing that I get nowhere near a full days use out of the battery. I've had it since January 2025 and other than the first month or two, the battery has been pretty bang average and not the amazing feature that I bought the phone for.
Does anyone have any tips to combat the above or help with battery life?
Thanks in advance
Afternoon all.
I placed an order approximately 4-6 weeks ago for the PCH M3 deal, and paid the £200 reservation fee.
The current estimated delivery date is 2-30 September.
I was told that the reservation fee would be refunded after signing the finance agreement with the lender, who I haven't obviously done yet.
My circumstances / personal life has changed now and I won't be able to go through with the order.
Do you know if Tesla would refund the reservation fee, or is that just now something I have to accept is the price to pay for not now signing the agreement?
Thanks on advance
Hi there.
I'm visiting with my children today.
Is there anywhere still under or around £10 for parking for most of the day, relatively near to the pier (max 30 minute walk)?
Can't get past this point, or variations of it.
Any help appreciated
Hi all.
I got some really helpful advice on buying a used electric and I think I've narrowed it down to a Model 3 (or still possibly a Born or Polestar..?)
I have a budget of £15-16k and I'm currently looking at a 2022, or newer, Model 3.
Is there any advice or help you can offer on what I should be looking for, or looking to avoid when viewing and buying a M3?
Should I be budgeting more and definitely getting a warranty on the car on top of the battery one that will have a couple years left?
I do approx 500 miles a month, the majority of which is shorter journeys, so no need for a long range model.
I'll edit the post if there's anything else you need to know about my circumstances.
Thanks in advance
Hi all.
Just looking for some advice and opinions really.
I'm in the market for a new car and I'm pretty indecisive with these things, so some opinions based on experience would be grand. Plus point out to me anything I may be overlooking when it comes to pitfalls and what to avoid.
So I have a few things set out:
If I go new, I'm looking at PCP at no more than £300/month
If I go used, I'm looking at no more than £15,000.
One thing I would like, just out of preferences, is a larger infotainment screen. That's the only thing I'd desire on top of all the usual ideals like reliability, lower mileage, nice drive, nice interior, etc, etc but I'm aware my budget only buys so much.
Three cars, one from each category in currently considering:
New electric: Leapmotor B10. £280ish/month 0% apr PCP, buy it after 4 years
Used electric: Cupra Born (ideally V2 or better)
Used petrol: 2022< Ford Focus Active X (always owned Fords and comfortable with them generally)
If anyone has food advice on what to choose from the above, or can twist me into considering something else, then I'm all ears and I'm grateful.
Thanks in advance
Edit: I will have a charger installed at home if I buy electric. I currently drive approximately 75-125 miles a week. Mostly 20 mile round-trip school runs, with very few motorway runs, but this may change with a newer vehicle instead of using my partner's car (the family car)
Hey. How did people solve today's? Stuck
