What do you think is the future of feminism in Ukraine?

Right now, Ukrainian men are facing a level of discrimination that no woman in a Western country experiences. They are banned from leaving the country and are required to serve in the military. This means a high risk of being mobilized into a combat unit, which obviously comes with the threat of death or disability. I’m not saying I’m completely against this policy - hard times require the government to make tough decisions. But the fact remains that women have no such obligation and are free to leave.

Obviously, many men are unhappy with this. It creates a strong sense of injustice, and the difference in what men and women are going through right now is huge.

After the war, the EU will likely push Ukraine to adopt even more anti-discrimination laws, as this is just the standard path of development for any European country.

How do you expect society to react to this once the war is over? How will people balance the push for European feminist laws with the disproportionate burden placed on men? And what is your personal take on the whole situation?

Neurodivergent Military Experience?

Any neurodivergent people here with military experience?

Conscription is currently active in my country (Ukraine), and I’m eligible. Instead of waiting to be randomly mobilized, I’m planning to take the initiative and try to secure a non-combat or support role in a decent unit.

For those of you who have served, how did you cope with the daily military grind, the rigid hierarchy, and the constant lack of personal space?

Also, if anyone has combat experience, I’d really appreciate your perspective as well. Given the reality of the situation, I want to be ready for any scenario.

How do I set parent-child relationships?

In CAS, I can set two Sims as siblings, but the option to make them parent and child is unavailable. In MCCC, it only lets me add one parent. On top of that, the relationship.add_bit cheat code simply doesn't work for me. What is the current working method to add parent-child relationships?

Non-American here, and I'm curious: how do US conservatives view James Talarico?

I’m not from the US, but I recently came across an interesting Democratic politician named James Talarico. As an Orthodox Christian myself, he strikes me as a genuinely good guy who actually follows Christ's teachings - specifically, "love thy neighbor". I'm curious, how do American conservatives view him?
