Disparaging comments

I've listened since about 2019. However, I've made up my mind this week that I am no longer listening. Not only do I agree with some of the viewpoints on here regarding credentials of the personalities, but I don't agree with Dave often disparaging career fields. Think of when he says like, "At least your job isn't like those people who have no brains and work at the DMV."

I don't work at the DMV, but I'm in an adjacent space.

I find it so disrespectful, as these people are out making a living, doing honest work, just like most everyone else.

Job postings that were cancelled before the budget

- Any idea on some jobs being reposted after being cancelled before the budget passed?

- Any idea of the timeframe of the jobs that were affected?

Any department store walkers here?

I still enjoy my outdoor walks, but I have started including indoor walks at my local Target or strip malls on bad-weather days. Sometimes it's easier to move freely compared to my walking pad. I love it!

Anyone else do the same?

Wondering if anyone here works in comms/PR and also has OCD?

I work in public relations/comms and have OCD.

Was just hoping to get some insight from others who may be in this career field who have this disorder. How do you handle your work tasks while resisting your compulsions?

Does anyone here have OCD and work in communications?

I work in public relations/comms and have OCD. The OCD is a struggle with the checking, checking, checking, checking, checking, checkity-check-checking. Also, doubting and questioning nearly all of my decisions, recounting how I spoke to a reporter over the phone, rereading emails, and just overall doubt about not being good enough.

Was just hoping to get some insight from others who may be in this career field who have this disorder. How do you handle your work tasks?
