Light "puzzl-y" PC games to play long distance in screen sharing
My gf and I are in a LDR, and as a date night of some sort we would like to play an online game in screenshare. Usually, puzzl-y games that you don't have to think too hard to solve, or that have "blurry" solutions are the best. We played:
- Storyteller: the best representation of what we are looking for. Vibe-based puzzle in which we can pitch in out-of-the-box ideas are the best.
- Her Story: cool experience to play detectives, which we really like. It kinda missed the payoff since the game never checks for a "win condition", but it was great nonetheless. On this same note, I'm sure we would enjoy the Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective boardgame which I could play over TTS, so that's one of my next tries.
- Hidden Folks: really fun experience, but we found out that this is best played in person.
"Hard" puzzles are a bit off for us: we both like Baba Is You, but we didn't have a great experience playing it together.
I'm looking into A Little to the Left (which would be the Storyteller counterpart) and Return of the Obra Dinn (more into the Her Story direction I guess but with a payoff).
As for the platform, I'm playing on PC, but I can emulate most stuff if it happens to be a console game, so I'm quite flexible.
Does anyone have suggestions?
