What is even a crossdresser?
I know that I'm not a wife or anything but I think that could still be useful for wives in the future and other users of this sub.
I saw some posts on this sub and I wanted to know : how a crossdresser is defined here?
I'm a guy who likes dresses (long ones, I don't like sexy clothes) and cosplaying in general (I want to cosplay Amélie Poulain) but would I be considered a crossdresser by this sub?
For this sub, it seems to be something bad, like some kind of a vice. Is it like an addiction? I want to know how this term is defined here (like it seems to be more than just dressing fem as a man). Thanks
I sent letters to random adresses
That's totally something Amélie would do. Never got any replies unfortunately
What did the New Life 3D painting at the entrance of Peace Walls at Belfast become?
First I guessed it's finished now.
I met a nice woman. She was painting this, she said it's to promote peace in Belfast. I sat on the sidewalk next to her, and we talked (me with my French accent, her with her Belfast one...). Unfortunately, it was like 13°C with wind so she got back inside...
It was in June. I wonder if it's known now, if it's finished.
Are there YouTubers that use Kdenlive?
If yes, show me your videos
If Amélie lived in 2026, she would have a Qwice account.
Qwice is a French social network based on authencity and respect between users that is explicitly against bullying and harassment. I don't think Amélie would like most social network, she'd find them meaningless and destructive for mind. I think Qwice could be an exception :
- It's a French platform, she's French, so the language checks out
- There's a system of likes and positive appreciations (you can give one for sourced content, objective content, well-supported argument, creative content and useful content)
- There's a system of level of confidence, if you interact positively with people, you gain levels
- It's far more moderated than other platforms
- People are far more respectful and calm than on other platforms
Would Amélie Poulain like Arch Linux?
Hello, I'm wondering that while setting up hyprland and Arch Linux.
Would Amélie use Arch because it's personalizable or would she find that too hard for nothing? Would Amélie do an Arch Linux ricing? What desktop environment would she use if she used Linux? Hyprland or something like KDE (more Windows like) or Gnome.
The film happens in 1997 so she doesn't use computers but what would a 2026 Amélie think about that?
Would Amélie like Arch Linux?
Hello, I'm wondering that while setting up hyprland and Arch Linux. Basically, it's a Linux distro where you can almost personalize everything (there's exemples of rices in r/UNIXporn).

How to find when editors want French voices to record for school textbooks?
Hello, I have a question. I had a poster at school in Dublin that said that some corporation looked for a voice to record things for their French textbooks.
I'm a native French speaker, I have an horrible accent in English or in any languages but obviously I can speak French well.
I wonder how do you find these offers? Like, how to find when editors want French voices to record for GSCE textbooks or things like that.
I'm in Europe
Thanks in advance :)

Hello, I want to make YouTube videos. I have a tonor tc310, the sound is fine but I want to know what are the optimal EQ settings for it. I record like 30 cm away from the mic. I use voicemeter banana. I followed a tutorial that said to put down before 100 hz and after 10000 hz and in the middle (~1000 hz), and to augment at 100 hz but it sounded weird...
Here's how my voice sounds like (it's another mic) :
