Yall I had the worst day!

12:1 ratio, 7 blood sugars, Q4 vitals, 12 baths, and many of them had attachments (chest tubes, G-tubes, foleys, epidurals). Night shift left almost all the rooms full of trash and linens.

They just kept calling. I had about 100+ calls during my 12 hour shift. I never had the opportunity to sit down. Every time I’d finish a task/in the middle of a task my phone would go off.

I asked a nurse if they could do a shampoo cap for me (they had a trainee and they told me they were sitting back and observing) they told me “in the time it took you to find me, you could’ve already done it”

I was so confused, I almost never ask for help. It just made me want to cry even more.

What is my dog?

We’ve had him for about three years! He’s 3.5 and weighs about 50 pounds. The shelter told us cattle dog and pointer mix, but honestly I’ve been seeing pitbull more recently.

Do I need all these repairs?

I went to the dealership and got my oil changed, tires rotated, and did the brake fluid change or whatever. My “advisor” highlighted all this crap. My car is at 30,000 and all these repairs came out to almost $800. So my question is do i actually need all these repairs?

-cabin air filter/engine filter
-tire balance
-air fuel induction
-engine performance restoration
-evap cleaning

!! I meant maintenance***

Power out 12+ hours

When should I worry about my frogs? The temperature should be fine, but I’m worried about their cycle.
