Just now getting into One Piece at 31! Gonna chill on my hotel room balcony and finish Skypiea to celebrate the 4th.

My wife actually got me into One Piece, I haven’t been big into Anime aside from Studio Ghibli movies. We started watching the Live Action and I really liked it. The straw hats are a big dose of unrelenting optimism that I really needed with everything going on in the world right now. I’ve got a long way to go but really enjoying the adventure so far!

Ps- Luffy kicking the dog shit out of Crocodile was my favorite part of the manga so far. I also really liked the Monkey dudes that help the straw hats get to the knock up stream.

O’Hare Sky Club is nice! But why can’t delta lounges ever fully cook breakfast potatoes.

The only Sky Club I’ve been to with fully cooked potatoes was LGA. Crying in the club rn.

Feels good to finally be in the 700s at 31 after being dumb with credit cards in my early 20s.

Opened a discover card while in college and used it to supplement my lifestyle throughout my 20s when my paycheck wouldn’t keep up. (DO NOT DO THIS) when I started my credit journey last year I had 11k on the discover (maxed out) and 2.8k on my Venmo card.

I have since completely paid off the discover account (not going to close it) and have my Venmo down to 1k (about to pay it off soon).

I’m very lucky that I now live in a LCOL area and work remote. If any of you are in your 20s and feel like your monkey off your back, my biggest advice to you is to stop kicking the can down the road and take actions to get your debt down.

FOMO is not as bad as high cc payments every month.

NEXT STOP 750+

Ua hoʻopau ʻia ka papa ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi! 🌺

My wife and I finally took our delayed honeymoon in Hawaiʻi last October, and the islands sparked something unexpected in me. I started learning Hawaiian on Duolingo during the trip and just finished the course. What a beautiful language. I can’t wait to keep studying beyond Duolingo!

Some recent pickups from the North Texas Cactus and Succulent Society a couple of weeks ago

All plants from East Austin Succulents. Eric and his crew make some beautiful freaky little dudes. Really excited to see what these guys do.
