About 2 months ago I came on here complaining that my nepenthes ventrata wasn't growing any pitchers and someone said it needed sun (I was keeping it indoors). Out it went. 4 hours of direct sun daily then I move it under the patio cover. This pitcher grew in just 2 months!! 5 times the size of the pitchers that came on the plant!! Just water and sun!!

Name in photos since I can never spell it correctly...this sits in a wide flat bowl because it is growing in a circle. So glad it bloomed! Are you seeing that fat pseudobulb though??

This mini looks a bit different to me, can the experts tell me anything about it? I don't think these flowers will flatten out, I thought that phals are supposed to. These look like they stay curled, but guess we'll see...

An orchid expert told me it wouldn't flower here in southern California. The anticipation is killin' me!!

I put on my glasses AND needed a magnifying glass to see this but WOW!!! These are in a small terrarium under grow lights. So proud!!!

First try at a pingdom. I think next one I will put smaller pings so they have more room but this rock isn't that big anyway. Need to find more rocks now...
