Would I be able to get a job on long island with just a NYS hearing aide license?

I'm looking into maybe getting into this field and I'm wondering if anyone lives on the island or knows how hard it is in general to get into this kind of work without a doctorate. I have an Associates in Occupational Therapy, but I know that won't help with this job. Anyone have any advice?

I feel deep sympathy even for the most evil characters in fiction and even try to justify their actions in my head. How do I stop?

Warning: this will bring up some disturbing topics!!

So I when I watch a show/play a game or whatever sometimes I just get REALLY attached to a specific villain and I dont know why, usually one with a sympathetic backstory. Lately its been Rerir from Genshin Impact. I get so oddly emotionally connected to him and it feels like a safe space. I just feel so guilty about this because then I try to justify his actions and obviously they shouldn't be justified.

If you don't know about Rerir, he's kind of like Anakin Skywalker but with parallels to a certain fascist regime. He was trained since a child as an assassin to eliminate threats to the current dynasty (a separate race called the crimson moon race). The targets started as adults that were colluding with other members of the crimson moon supposedly to topple the eclipse dynasty (the current regime.) However, as the king starts to lose his mind, his targets keep getting younger and younger until it's literally small children. He tries to justify this saying that its a legitimate line of work and they are still treats and eliminates them anyway (even saying hes good at his job and his friends would support him if they knew). Only when he sees his girlfriend as his next target does he stop and say its gone too far (he didnt know she was a crimson moon descendants, albeit a distant one.) You could argue he was also trained by the abyss but most of his actions before that point are his own. The game even admits that he was always selfish and evil, though tragic, and I feel like I want to ignore that so I can keep feeling connected like this without guilt.

Obviously i know these acts are evil and completely irredeemable, but for some reason I just cant help but try to justify them because for some terrible reason my mind finds these evil characters as a safe space. The same happened with Vecna/Henry after I watched the stranger things play (which adds a lot of lore and makes him more sympathetic)

I know its normal to sympathize with a character even if they've done evil things but justifying their actions is where you should draw the line and I feel so guilty that I feel such a connection to these characters like this. Especially since they've done some of the most deplorable acts imaginable. How should I deal with this?

Tldr: i feel emotionally connected to certain characters that have done irredeemable acts and try to justify their actions. Im afraid that this is really wrong what to do?

Am I wrong?

So i loved Pilot Alastor, series Al, not as much. But I'm hearing everyone saying that they are the same and I just dont see it. Like i get that he was putting a show on for Charlie in the pilot but he still came off as much more confident even in the comic I think. Also if the first impression of a character is them putting on a facade, i think they should've kept him using that facade for longer in the show, THEN show cracks if they really wanted to. I get the idea of him being insecure and thats fine (though less hot) but they should've kept up with that vibe in the beginning of the show.

I made a comment on Pilot vs series Al and why they feel different its quite long though if anyone wants to read it:

Pilot Al comes off as someone who doesnt need to prove his power, owns and dominates the tone of a room without needing to really do anything and is there just for the fun of the game. In only the 6ish minutes he's on screen, you can see his subtle manipulations that just seem less overt then series Al (although series Al manipulating vox was one of my favorite scenes in the show). Pilot Al will get in people's space touching and proving them to piss them off and show dominance without overtly seeming like trying. Something i have not seen series Alastor do. Pilot Al recognizes Vaggie as being the straight man and seems like he wants to manipulate Charlie so he subtly takes measures to piss vaggie off (smile my dear you know youre never fully dressed without one) and separate them (the moment where, before he dances with Charlie, he throws a flame up into the air and shoves Vaggie out of the way, and slaps her ass later in the song). Pilot Al is always charming and has strong showman vibes throughout his whole screentime, even when getting insulted or threatened (Vaggie with the spear, Husk throwing insults). He takes it all in stride and although we don't see any major obstacles for him, it feels like he wouldn't show when he gets bothered nearly as easily as show Alastor. Also Pilot Al never cursed which gave him a gentlemanly tone and made sense since cursing isnt allowed on radio. Not to mention all the effects he does on the camera and looking straight at the audiance that showcase his power in a more otherworldly way. His voice and radio effect was much better too. Neither of these can be shown in fanfic unfortunately. In short, Pilot Al feels like a real serial killer would be, charming and luring you in until he's ready to show his ugly side.

Show Alastor seems like he's trying way too hard to seem tough and gets ticked off way too easily (the TV in episode 1, the overlords not caring about where he was, Husk reminding him he's on a leash, Lucifer, Suzie). Now him being ticked off about being on a leash and Rosie flaunting that around in You're my Pet makes sense and he could show some true annoyance there and possibly when Husk points it out to put him in his place but even then his outbursts feel more like temper tantrums then real threats because hes angry all the time. He also curses way too much (one curse when Adam defeats him, to show the gravity of the situation wouldve been perfect). Also his lines are cheesy and pretty silly in the show and the way they are delivered feels like a cliche anime villain (this face was made for radio, im going to end your fucking life, oh trust me I CAN, A reminder to all: Not to mess with THE RADIO DEMON!, baby I'm a demon in hell, its kinda our thing) Most of these are in season 1 because it was way worse in season 1. He talks like a millenial whereas pilot Al at least sortof talked like he was from the 30s? Overall, I feel Prime Alastor comes off as less charismatic, less covertly manipulative (for the most part), and way less mature.
