Couch Co-Ops
Please recommend good couch co-op games for me and my partner. I have Xbox X - Game Pass Ultimate. My partner is a newer gamer, but they really enjoyed It Takes Two. We've played through it twice already and need something new! Other games we have played: Unravel, and Rayman Legends
They are not into shooting games, unless its very cute and cartoony. They typically games like Super Mario Bros or Animal crossing, but are open to trying out other genres.
Please help us bust our boredom!
Bust it down clown!
Not sure what mod could possibly cause this, unless he just does this and I forgot lol. Not looking to fix it
Creative Frustration
I was initially excited about the empty map, but the lack of tools to support building your own town from scratch is extremely frustrating.
You can't edit lot types without the use of convoluted mods that only work half of the time. Editing terrain is great until you want to add water, which disappears if you tweak anything. The terrain paint tools are rough and don't really allow you to blend between swatches. Every tree, rock, and bush need to be placed individually. Roads don't work if you raised the terrain, instead they appear below the map.
I know this is early access but I'm gonna have to set this game aside for a year and come back when these tools are more developed. I am really excited about everything this game promises but the functionality of it is driving me mad.
I humbly present
My 3D print of the queen. I did not design the 3d model myself, but it sure was a challenge printing out all of the pieces (especially her mace). There are definitely some issues, but overall I’m very happy with how this turned out. This is my first major project since getting into 3D printing.
Now the question, to paint or not to paint? I’m not very skilled at painting small detail and this took me so long to get together that I’m not sure I want to risk ruining it with a poorly done paint job. What do you all think, Minthara lovers?
Any Chicago Trades people here?
Hi! I'm trying to make a career change into the trades, currently in the electrician's union application process and set to take the aptitude test in September. I am interested in other trades though as well, and possibly going non-union. Anyone here have experience in any of the trades in Chicago?
I started with Electricians union simply because it seemed interesting and seems to pay the most, but I'm now starting to get more interested in carpentry. Plus local 134 is extremely selective and I would pretty much have to get 100% on the test to have any chance of getting in. I know having construction experience helps with the union applications, but I'm struggling to find non-union apprentice/helper positions. I'm also still working my 9-5 IT job so I can keep my insurance that covers my HRT. Any advice?
EDIT: also considering not going electrical because I don't love the idea of working on data centers
