Is this a software glitch or a hardware issue?

Chromebook randomly started doing this while i was using it on my lap, restarting did absolutely nothing now im not sure how to proceed with it acting like this. Everything else works other than the screen as shown

Is it ok to feel kinda sad about becoming an adult?

I’m an ‘09 dude and today it just hit me that i’m closer to being an adult than i was as a kid. I mean don’t get me wrong I’m pretty excited about since i’ll be able to get my license and stuff but like I suddenly started thinking about the period between 2015-2019 and how things felt slow then and everything since 2020 hasn’t been the same and become feeling faster. It also doesn’t make me feel better knowing that my parents are about to enter their 60s and basically everything in my life is changing so fast. Is it alright to feel this way or should I not overthink it? Sorry for the long ass essay I js wanted to get my thoughts out

Before and after. So far everything’s good other than the screws being so hard to screw in and the dpad being somewhat wobbly so might have to sort that out another time but for now it’s aight. Also really digging the black triggers contrasting the night translucent blue shell. Let me know what yalls think about it
