How to do an oil soak?

Hey everyone! I was wondering how you do an oil soak without a bowl? And also what all the steps are? I don’t have a bottle of jojoba oil or anything. I use those cuticle oil pens. Would it work just as well if I applied it on thick/heavy and put saran wrap or tin foil (or both for better heat retention?) over it and then let it sit for however long?

How do you get the excess oil off without drying out the cuticles?

Corset Flossing Question

When doing corset flossing, do you use embroidery floss or sewing thread?

How many strands of embroidery floss do you use? What kind of sewing thread?

How to stop this from further damage?

These are my headphones that are used daily (everything from the gym to reading audiobooks). I’ve had them almost 4 years and still work like new. However, there is now a small tear in the outer most layer on the left ear. I know that once this happens, this stuff will continue to tear away like crazy until nothing is left. How do I fix this so that it won’t tear anymore?

Plants in a local public garden

These are 2 plants that I couldn’t identify in a local public garden. The spikey ball one is probably a weed since it was everywhere. And I think the other one is an onion but the label tag was damaged and unreadable.

Cowgirl Kettle Corn…where are you???

They used to be right here in the back of the old Big Lots parking lot! Big red trailer. Then it changed to a smaller yellow lemonade trailer. Now it’s just gone. Please come back!!!

This is one of my daughter’s hoodies that she’d like me to fix up. Are these stitches at the armhole just decorative? The sleeve seems well attached to the shoulder and doesn’t seem to be falling off/apart. But since I’m already mending the sleeve at the wrist, figured I would just do whatever is needed on the whole thing.

She’s a teenager and basically lives in hoodies.

I bought this already-started blanket for my son at the local scrap store. But I don’t know what stitch this is. I’m still a beginner and learning to “read” crochet. I’d like to practice it a bit before actually starting to finish the blanket for him.
