Laughing my ass off at the fact there is in fact a Reddit for work boots 🤣 Anyway, I'm planning some Christmas shopping ahead of time for my boyfriend and want to get him some new shoes/boots. He has a couple pairs but they are falling apart to varying degrees and I know men like to keep things until they just straight up are not functional at any capacity lol. Can anyone recommend work shoes or boots that are comfortable and supportive, last a good long while, and preferably steel toe? Price isn't really a concern for me. Thanks so much!!

Hello all. I need an immediate, desperate prayer. My aunt's fiance, his name is Kevin, experiencing a cardiac arrest a coupoe days ago. His situation is extremely bleak. He is nearly brain dead. The chances he recovers are near zero without a miracle from God. I dont know if my prayers are enough. God doesnt listen to me much. I need help from other's with stronger faith to pray for Kevin. My aunt is devastated and will be homeless without him. Thank you for your prayers.

Hello! While trying to figure out what to get my bf for our anniversary I saw a suggestion somewhere for a new pillow! This is just what he needs. He likes very flat pillows and i do not at all like flat pillows so I'm really not sure what may be good for him. Something comfy, stays flat, not memory foam, I do know he hates memory foam. He'll sometimes even sleep without the pillow but I think that might just be because I f'ed it up my washing it. Anyway, suggestions appreciated! Prefer to keep budget around 100-150 but will go up to 200 if its really worth it! Thanks yall!

Increase from $29 to $231 on the $31,000 under my name and increase from $1,100 to $1,865 on the $75,000 Parent PLUS loans I repay my dad for. Thats a ~$1,000 total increase. I don't have an extra $1,000. I would need to find a second job and work an extra 20 hours a week at $15 an hour or 16 hours a week at $18 an hour to make close to that and I already work 40 hours a week. At least the Parent PLUS loans will be paid off in 4 years at that payment. Sigh.

Hello! Im looking for some very specific sheets!! My search on the internet is not proving super great results. I want to steer away from synthetic materials such as Polyester, Nylon, and Rayon, but i love the naturally cooling of these cheap crappy Rayon sheets I got off Amazon that fell apart in 6 months. I'd love something organic that is naturally cooling but if such a thing doesn't exist, I'd rather just get natural fabric sheets. My other thing I'm interested in was bacteria resistance? But I dont think a natural fabric that is bacteria resistant exists..... i saw some silver sheets but they didnt seem to have great reviews. My order of importance it natural > comfortable > durable > cooling > bacteria resistant. If anyone knows anything like that I appreciate responses!!

My favorite sub makers I listen to include HFG, IWIIGI, Opia, Ailee, Cee, Moza, Slade. I also occasionally listen to V1per, Vetala, Guoba, NOCTURNUM, and Baejin Cafe. I know HFG, Opia, and Ailee use AI and I hate that. They have some of my fave subs to use but I can't use them and support that in good consciousness. Do any of the others use AI that we know of? IWIIGI and Slade are my goats so I hope neither of them use them lol. Anyone else yall listen to? Also do we know if any of the people listed use witchcraft in their subs? I think NOCTURNUM does, I want to avoid that as well for personal reasons. Thanks yall! Hello all, I wanted to start a discussion on a topic I have been very interested in. This post might be a little unorganized but I had some questions I was curious if some people might have their own thoughts, feelings, opinions, and experiences! I was born and raised Christian but don't remember really talking about this much. I also haven't stepped into a church since the you-know-what shut downs of 2020.

What are your thoughts on spiritual/biblical gifts? Does everyone have a spiritual gift from God, or do only some people have them? Do we all have the potential for them and have to discover these gifts from God? Does the Bible list out these gifts in one area of the Bible or are they scattered? I've seen some articles and forums online listing Prophecy, Serving, Teaching, Encouraging, Giving, Leadership, Mercy, Word of Wisdom, Word of Knowledge, Faith, Healing, Miraculous Powers, Discerning of Spirits, Speaking in Tongues, and Interpretation of Tongues. Is there anything else you would add to this list or anything you'd remove? Is having a gift rare? I also wanted to specifically mention the gift of healing. Since I was very young I have DESPERATELY wanted to have "healing powers." Your eight year old friend asks you what powers you would want, your brother says invisibility, your cousin says flying, your friend says super strength, I say healing. I would absolutely love to have the ability to heal others' ailments via the miraculous abilities of our Lord. But I don't think thats how that works. Can I pray for God to give me the gift of healing? Would He be obliged to answer that prayer? I don't want it for my own sake, I want it because I hate to see my loved ones suffer with their various ailments and when I hear of a child with cancer, it fills me with anguish for them. I wouldn't want any sort of profit, I just want to help other's in their physical and mental afflictions and tell them to go on and spread God's word after His miraculous powers have healed them. Idk, really weird topic I suppose. Is it weird for me to want that ability myself in the first place? I don't want any recognition or profit from it, I just wish the people I love didn't have to live with pain.

I was debating getting my dad a whiskey subscription for father's day next year (a little late this year + Im poor lol). He loves whiskey and bourbon. I know absolutely nothing about whiskey and bourbon and do not care for them. I'm a fruity drink girl 😂 I've seen some people mention that a lot of those subscriptions have cheap whiskey that isnt really worth it. So wanted to know, do yall think one of those monthly or quarterly whiskey subscriptions are worth it and I should gift him one of those next year? Thanks in advance!!

And if anyone knows of a very niche community who may have better perspectives on this very specific discussion point, please let me know! I am a Christian, who performed very non-Christian witchcraft and have since stopped out of fear. I have this very unrelenting and crippling fear now that I may have opened a door to something that attached itself to me, or have a door left completely open that anything can come in and out of. I genuinely have no evidence, not even anything to make me suspect, that I have anything attached to me. My "luck," whether good or bad, is generally unchanged from before or after dabbling in the craft. I've had good things happen to me. And bad things. About the average level of luck the average human being has. No "entities" helped me. None appear to be around hindering me. But I have been taught that once the door is open, there is no shutting it ever again. And once that happens there is no shutting it ever again and God will only protect you from demons so much after you've dabbled in that crap against His direct commands. So my biggest concern is, that since that door is open forever, even if I do not ever engage in witchcraft again, what are the chances doing so comes back to bite me in the ass? Can i give my entire life to God now going forward and a demon could still come through that door and completely f up my life and God won't protect me fully, or is that just literally not at all how that works? I don't know. I'm looking to get perspectives from my fellow Christians and I plan to get some from some witches as well. But I am so so so fearful of this. Don't sugarcoat the answer and give it to me straight, please. I just need to know.

Hello all!! I've been looking for a new cleansing balm specifically for acne treatment recently. I've been breaking out so bad on just my cheeks (which I've learned is likely because of outside environmental factors like my pillow, so gotta figure out how to resolve that) but in the mean time what something to try and clear it out while I organize how to get rid of outside factors. I really want something with Salicylic Acid. I've found Hanskin's Pore Cleansing BHA Balm and Medicube's Super Cica LHA Cleansing Balm. Im leaning more towards Medicube since I use their capsule creams already and love them. Would anyone recommend one vs the other? Or recommend something else? I'd like to get rid of these damn closed comodones and the acne on my cheeks. I have combination skin where its oily on forehead only and dry pretty much everywhere else. Thanks all!!
