Cassie is a very interesting character to watch this season but my main issue is the drastic change in her motivation. Her whole motive in s1 and s2 was love and male validation. Now she’s this money obsessed person and it doesn’t really make sense. She never used to care about money.
The main focus of this season is sex work, showing Cassie, a privileged bored former housewife choosing to do only fans and essentially becoming a famous influencer and even Jules with her sugar baby thing and showing the other, more grim and more realistic side of sex work with angel and kitty where they are being trafficked and dehumanised etc etc. I’m really enjoying it and it’s surprisingly showing angel and kitty in a very sympathetic light but since this is a Sam levinson show I don’t have a lot of faith that this will continue to be portrayed great
The main spoilers before the show was that Maddy is gonna have a huge amount of screen time and is gonna be a central character and like where is it? Both Maddy and jules and kind of Lexi were all characters with huge potential and they are given interesting storylines but they so far aren’t going anywhere. It’s all focused on rue and Cassie
