Yet again another fast food restaurant bites the dust...
This time it's the Arby's on Shore Drive right across from Little Creek. We tried getting fast food from the drive thru there about a year ago and no one came to the intercom to take out order... We then pull to the entrance and saw all the employees about 3 of them just sitting inside the restaurant chatting it up!
Eating out...
Anyone else notice that people here tend to go to sit down restaurants a lot? I know a lot of locals here that eat at them a few times a week... Where I grew up people tend to eat at home most of the time apart from the occasional deli, bagel and pizza places!
Never ending pasta starting in July?
Olive garden is stating something never ending is coming on July 13th? Is it by chance never ending pasta is starting early this year?
Another Wendy's here bites the dust...
This time it was the one on Northampton Blvd right near the premium outlets. I will tell you a story of kindness that happened when I visited it. I was with a group of people and a few months ago a few of us wanted to get lunch at that Wendy's. While we were there what everyone wanted was a few dollars more than what they had in there pockets.. Well the cashier who what I was assuming was actually the manager operating the cash register let them pay with what they had for all the items they wanted! That was very kind and sweet of her to do that! So sad to see that Wendy's go...
Cleaning transportation vans...
Is it quite common for day programs and group homes to make clients clean the transportation vans? Where I live it is and I feel it's wrong. I just feel it's kind of exploitive to us..
We need a Sheetz here in Virginia Beach.
We have a Wawa on every corner here. Sheetz is wayyyy better. Sheetz really needs to open up here in Virginia Beach.
Saltine crackers in the condiments case.
Am I allowed to take them for free? I do understand they are meant for soups but someone I know told me they are free. She also asks for sweet peppers behind the counter and the employees have no problem giving it to her.
Would you rather use a Greyhound bus bathroom or a bathroom stall that's outside at a gas station?
reddit.comI've noticed something...
I tend to pee constantly like every 2 hours. But over the weekend I wore a Scopolamine Patch and I noticed that I could go longer without having the urge to pee!
I'm glad i'm single.
Seriously so freaking glad i'm single. No one is telling you where to live, what to do, if you can spend your money on this and that etc... It does get lonely living alone sometimes but i'll take it wayy over than having a boyfriend or being married.
I go to a day program and I notice that the majority of the DSP staff that I've had in my few years of attending day programs buy lunch out everyday from places like mall food courts, Chick fil a, Panda Express, McDonalds etc yet only get paid like $17 a hour! Buying lunch daily adds up. I usually just bring my lunch from home. I wonder how they are able to afford that...
