PC Monitor Ambilight Advice

I really want some sort of ambilight for behind my 32-inch curved OLED HDR Alienware monitor. I am curious about what people have experienced with their PC gaming setups. I've tried looking on the Discord for a sort of tutorial or walkthrough on what to buy for my kind of setup, but I'm not sure what to get.

I want something with no latency or disconnects, so a direct connection to the motherboard, maybe. I'm ruling out WLED because my Internet can be unreliable and I want something that always works, especially for my fast paced games. I read about Nollie for the controller, but have no idea what strips are any good and worth getting. The issue is, there are no limits to how many RGB strips exist, and controllers.

When diving into the rabbit hole, I was looking at Nanoleaf 4D V2, or their PC Screen Mirror, but the former is expensive and needs a camera, which might not be instant, and the latter has issues with HDR/DRM. I also looked at Govee Gaming Lights G1, but heard it needs WiFi.However, I discovered SignalRGB is great for a universal experience, and can bypass issues with HDR/DRM when gaming and watching movies respectively.

What kind of advice or hardware suggestions do you guys have for my kind of setup? I'm somewhat technical, and would prefer buying on Amazon (in case something doesn't work out) but can branch off if something will guaranteed work.

Is the Nanoleaf 4D V2 worth it in 2026?

I really want some lighting for my 32-inch OLED monitor. I am curious about what people have experienced with their PC gaming setups, since I have had issues in the past with direct-connect RGB strips when using HDR or streaming DRM content.

I know there are the camera options and have heard mixed things on it.

Plan changed from T-Mobile ONE Business to something I have never heard of.

Does anyone know anything about this? It's called Business Unlimited Enhanced. My billing cycle was July 13th so I haven't seen any changes until today.

The rate went up from 240 for 6 lines to 267. Two lines on my ONE Business had ONE Plus addons.

I don't see any phone promotions either, which is odd and really disappointing since I haven't had a promotion in years. The plan doesn't even seem to know what it is, since some areas say 100GB hotspot, and others say 200GB.

abxylute N6 Review: a solid option to make the Switch 2 feel more whole!

Hey y'all, just wanted to share my thoughts on something I just picked up recently. I typically run my Switch 2 with my Switch 2 Pro Controller, which is great for my setup, but I wanted something like that for handheld mode.

See, I like to play all kinds of games, like shooters and adventure games, but I always want a way that I can move my camera without having to lift my thumb off the stick if I want to jump (press B or A while turning) and the Pro Controller has the back buttons, which are sick. So I looked on Amazon for something like my Steam Deck, and found the abxylute N6, and decided to pick it up because it has those. This controller legit feels like I'm using my Steam Deck. What's great is that I can map the back buttons natively, just like the Pro Controller. It also has gyro, rumble, etc, which definitely helps make it feel like a native experience.

So far it's been great for everything I've thrown at it, like Overwatch, Fortnite, DK Bananza, Star Fox and Metroid Prime 4.

The control sticks are also larger with more travel, which I love since it's more precise, which makes it a better option than the joycons. I also like how the control sticks have the offset from the buttons/dpad which helps with comfort. Speaking of which, the dpad, buttons, and control sticks (hall effect, btw) feel really nice and responsive. Definitely worth every penny. Now I just need to get a case for it...
