Need advice on a non-virtual setup

My co-host and I have been podcasting for years using virtual tools. However, due to some unforeseen circumstances, I have had to shift and find a temp cohost and so my lovely husband volunteered to fill in. However, we have never done an in person set up and I am having some trouble. We recorded one episode using two separate computers and two mics, but we have had some echo problems. At this point without buying further equipment is there anything that anyone can recommend to help us record together in the same room without having echoes? Any guidance or feedback would be appreciated as editing this last episode is a complete nightmare that has taken too much of my life lol

Lots of bugs on mint plant

Friend or foe?
The mint in my yard started attracting these bugs that look like bees. There are so many. I tried to get a good photo but was afraid to get too close. Any info will be a huge help.
Thanks!

Fan flower?

I found a piece of this flower on the ground and placed in water to try and root it. I am not familiar with this plant and am wondering what are the best ways of planting. Does this plant work as ground cover? Hanging?

I’m open to all suggestions. I’m pretty sure it’s called a fan flower. I’m in zone 7b

Cold foam in hot drinks?

I don’t get the appeal of cold foam on hot drinks. It just sinks 🤷🏼‍♀️

Fresh start opportunity!

We had a pretty rough winter and our pool was a casualty. The cover ended up falling in and due to the severe cold temperatures and snow, our pool was not salvageable. While we were initially feeling really dejected, we have decided that we can use this as an opportunity for a fresh start. We bought the house a few years ago and the pool came with it. Seeing how it is basically the central focus of the yard and we cannot afford an in-ground upgrade, we replaced our AGP with a newer (better) model and are now trying to upgrade the rest of the yard. The installers had to replace some of the pavers around the pool and now I’m wondering if we should put them back or do some other decor/landscaping?
