Made this yesterday and forgot to post it low key

Centurion - dealing with imperial beurocrats keeping him on terra

Dove - fighting off the tyranids on baal with all the blood angels and their successors

Courier Lover - still stuck in the mojave

Squire - stuck in the same place as the lion

Rose is here because "chaos is bad for business" also to fuck with khorne

As the throne cracked and splintered, the empress attempted her best to hold back the dark a minute longer ordering her beloved to take their children off world as quickly as he could. There was no room for retort, the skeletal form of the empress had already begun to leak black ichor and the custodes had begun to act strange.

Lover had gathered both the star child, and telemachus alongside a small contingent of sisters of silence and solar auxiliary as they began heading to his flagship as quickly as he could but it was too late.

With a psychic roar the empress began to fall apart, a darkness flooding out, so they began to rush, taking access tunnels only known to the old praetorean of terra and the royal family as the custodes fell to the voice of their mistress, a dark shadow left from the throne room as the husk of Aurelia's love ran out of the throne room tracking them. Before reaching the ship, the dark queen's champion melted from the shadows and cut his way through the loyal guardsmen and only halted by the sisters for a moment as the corrupted custodes rushed in and began to cut through the sisters. The sight was like this across the palace, sisters, guardsmen, and marine alike were bombarded by dark facsimiles of fellow imperials and the ranks of the custodians cutting down any that stood in their way.

Lover and telemachus stood side to side as the remaining sisters and solar auxiliary rushed the star child into his flagship and rushed the dark queen's champion. Fighting a champion of chaos was bad in the best of times but as his dark mistress consumed the souls of terra and began to manifest upon the planet, her knight was charged to a point that neither the consort nor son of the empress could put up much of a fight. Even armored, every hit felt horrid, telemachus could feel his bones break with every successful parry and even his own anathema nature to chaos was providing little support and his father had it worse as a mere man.

Within the warp, Hedond was out of her depth. Her power spread thin as she alone was sustaining the living saints and legion of the dammed across the galaxy, their power heavily weakened as she alone could barely do what once required three gods. Furthermore, her psyche was preoccupied with funneling imperial forces through the warp as the light of the astronomicon began to fade. The

young goddess could not pull away for a moment.

Little light at her side watched as the order alliance began to fall in on itself. isha was upon fenris holding back the plauge mother's wrath, Y'need's focus was on his eternal stalemate with slanesh, Chegorach and tau'va had left to assist their own people with the storm of chaos the dark queen had unleashed, and the final hope for mankind and the imperium lay on dying world. So he made a judgment call, an apology to Hedone and a silent prayer to Aurelia wherever in the warp she may be and traveled to terra.

Lover was slumped in a corner, cybernetics from the Mojave the only thing keeping him alive as his remnant forced held the onslaught of demons and telemachus barely held his own against the shade of an uncle. Helmet shatered, golden ichor flowing from his face as he stood on shaken legs when a sudden trust pierced his chest

"Be glad, my mistress wants to complete the family set"

Telemachus fell onto his knees gasping as he tried to use any of his remaining power to keep the dark knight away from the ship when a blaze of light appeared burning away the demons as little light stepped out, he was already gasping from that act alone but still ready

"Tired of being chased by me, have you come to accept your fate like your chaos half did"

"Call it what you want, I'm not letting you touch the kid"

with other words the two clashed, little light running on fumes yelled out

"Get off the planet, she's not gonna stop sending her horde dammit!"

His dark mirror slammed into him across the shipyard and little light refused to let go, using every ounce of power he had as telemachus brought his father aboard and the ship flew off terra and headed towards titan for refuge with the Grey knights. Little light felt his body begin to give, the light of the empress fading and too far to relieve more from Hedone, he simply smiled as he watched his other half tear free and the sword aim at his waist. In his death, the hope of humanity still stood.

The dark mirror absorbed the essence of his better half just as terra fell, only a few ships had managed to flee but that didn't matter, he walked past the corrupted angels and knelt at his mistress's throne, the corrupted eternal consort at her side.

"The star child has escaped I-"

"Nonsense my little champion, even if they have, there is nowhere they can flee or be protected by the paltry forces of order or chaos, the galaxy will fall to my grasp"

Eternal had vanished from the warp, grand alliance order was on edge as their heaviest hitter had simply vanished. The daughter of mankind, hedone, had taken it upon herself to try and locate her father only to sense his soul within the deep warp and a realm not even the 4 ruinous gods ever ventured into.

Eternal had been in abject paradise. Gone was the barely humanoid for of god he had and returned was his human form. Neoth was safe and showing nothing but love for him and the whole family, assuring him that those memories were simple nightmares. No daughters fell to chaos, the webway project never failed, the imperium is a beacon of humanity...but it was wrong right? Those memories couldn't be just nightmares?

A part of him wanted to pull away but it was buried as the weight of countless billions of souls pleading out to one of their gods no longer weighed him down.

Everytime he looked at one of his daughter he ~~saw their fate, their death and suffering~~ could feel nothing but joy at them being together and alive. Grandchildren traveled to and fro the empire and castle.

That was his life for...well who knows how long at this point, the life he and yeah would dream off since he and neah were young and foolish. But things started changing, visions of a six armed goddess of hope and a laughing god filled his mind, a glowing child on some backwater world, and hedone changing forms constantly as her arms reached out to him. It was headache inducing, the pull from something and the realm fighting to keep him oblivious.

Channeling as much worship as she could in the deep warp, hedone pushed against an all consuming dark, a force that made even her godly being shake and bend until...she broke her way in. As she fell in, the world reacted like a body reacts to an infection, the facsimiles of family and friends began to search for her.

Eternal walked through the halls, each one beginning to look wrong, like the realm itself was trying to remain convincing when a tackle hit eternal to the ground, a far older and more celestial hedone had tackled him into a wall as she spoke

"Oh thank my mother you're okay father, listen, tau'va and Chegorach are holding my entrance open as best they can but we have to hurry"

"My dear, you shouldn't have come here" Responded eternal, the human form falling away as the godly visage appeared beneath, memories flooding back realizing how much danger his daughter had put herself in

Before she could so much as ask, the golden palace darkened as the smiling empress appeared behind hedone, but it was not the energy she knew as a child or even that of which sits on the throne, no this was darker

"My child, how swell of you to join your father and I. But did you have to ruin the fun? No matter, I can work with this" as she spoke the Empress's visage melted away leaving a dark shadow with golden accents and the fury of a broken god bubbling underneath

Eternal had moments to decide, so he did what any father would do, save his child. With everything he could give, the god king grabbed his daughter and tossed her into the awaiting arms of his allies "run, head back to the warp proper and stay there!"

All hedone could do is watch the entrance to the realm close as she was tossed out and once again lose her father.

The dark queen rushed eternal and overpowered him easily, her might threatening to shatter the god as she growled, his body fitting in the palm of her hand.

"You keep breaking out, I thought this run would be the one to keep you as mine but clearly there are times I need to move you a more personal touch"

"Neah, please, whatever is wrong with you we ca-"

Eternal's voice gave out as a single sharpened claw pierced his chest and a corrupting gold flooded him, replacing the red his godly form had with a sickly glowing yellow, dark chains locking away every little ounce of self and all he could think was a final hope that his daughter and the galaxy would be ready for the worst

Literal deus ex machina and built in plot armor because I'm throwing all pretense of this not being one of my "making a good ending" moments

Beyond a couple few, the nightlords had all become traitor. By luck alone was the night dauntless steered away from the edge by her beloved. With a less cruel outlook on life she's rebuilding her legion the way she wanted from the beginning

Thor (infinity war): the battle in wakanda was starting to take a turn for the worse against the defenders as the overwhelming numbers began to take down our heroes and then with the greatest entrance thor arrives and immediately turns the tide.

Optimus prime (bayformers): while true in most iterations it was heavy in bayformers with optimus almost singlehandedly turning the tide of a battle back in favor of the autobots even if outnumbered.

Gerson boom (deltarune): during the battle with the titan in chapter 5, while our protagonists are losing hope as the titan's shield protects it while it heals and they begin to believe the battle will never end, gerson tosses his hammer and shatters the shield immediately, also giving the hope to the heroes needed to finish the fight and seal away the titan

Superman (DC): while this usually happens just to work big blue, it's undeniable that the heroes immediately regain their hope and will to fight the second that S appears on the field.

Luke Skywalker (the mandalorian): mandolin and his squad are outgunned, trapped in a single room and ready to go down fighting when a single x wing arrives and Luke walks out and effortlessly tears his way through the dark troopers that were set up as a massive threat to mando and his squad.

I can be an overcritical bastard/negative Nancy at times but I genuinely detest mfs who treat viv like the anti christ
