I am on a valid H1B visa and my husband has H4. We have our approval notices, with valid i-94 but since we didn’t go out of the country, our current visa is not stamped on our passport. We both came on J1 visa, which expired 2 years back.
We plan to take a trip from NY to Nashville for my work next week and I was curious to know if there is any chance of being targeted by ICE. We have always been here legally and never overstayed.
Any suggestions from the community?
