Claiming dependents wrong and lying on insurance?
I don't know which flair is the best for this, so I'm using this one. My aunt said the dependents stuff is fraud, and the insurance stuff also applies under irs, but idk. I'm 17, and my little sister is 15. I'm planning on calling the irs, ssa, and cps on my mom in the near future, and I'm scraping together as much info and evidence ad possible, so that I've got a sound case against her, and if she isn't hit on one front, something else does, so feel free to correct me, it's all a lot.
My older sister, aged29, claims us as dependents, and has since like 2020 or 2021. They split the return. She hasn't lived with us since around that same time, and definitely doesn't spend 50 percent or more of her income on us. My mom doesn't have a job, and hasn't since around then. I and my little sister also receive disability and child support, this has been our only income, my little sister's disability has been expired since last fall, and her dad "never pays", so my income is the only household income. I've asked he about it on video, and got her to admit to it (I'm in a place that let's me record undisclosed, if I myself am engaging in the conversation, dw)
The second part, is the insurance stuff. We've had more house/trailer fires than the typical person probably should. My mom has lived through multiple, and so has my older sister. I and my little sister, only 2, but it's very obvious. The first one, was when I was like 7, almost 8, and my mom and her husband at the time were getting ready for us to move to another state. He had cancer, and "wanted to see where she grew up". Anything important monetarily, or paperwork, went into a storage room. There was a fire, which I don't believe they found a cause for, but my mom will swear up and down, in that way that people desperate to make you believe do, that it was electrical. We went to the park, with our dog, and the neighbors called that the house was on fire. I don't remember a lot about how the money turned out for this part, just that it was a thing that happened; And during the most recent fired I had a mini flashback or something of it, and what I think was a panic attack.
The most recent fire was like a year plus ago. She moved anything expensive, and the important paperwork, to an aunt's garage. She told us to have anything "important" out. We move almost annually, it depresses me, I was in the middle of packing the sentimental stuff mentally. She was also preparing us to leave for denmark, where her bf lives. On the same day we disenrolled from school, and picked up a new prescription, the neighbor's kid called us and told us there was a fire, they heard booming, etc. (I and my lil sis remember fireworks on the kitchen shelf.) Our esp pets were also inside. It took weeks to catch them, but one got some oxygen before running off. Despite this, he sounded like a smoker when we first brought him to the hotel room. Neither got taken to the vet for it, she only took them a month later to get them f-ing nutered and spayed. The trailer was insured for like 65k, including belongings, because of some music stuff from the late husband and keepsakes, which was out at the time of the fire. My mom also smokes, and she's had manual rolling machines on and off our entire lives, and never once have I seen her take the tobacco from the butts, but she started doing that like 2 weeks before the fire. The cause is unknown, they saw the ashtray and asked about cigs, best guess was electric. On top of this, when the deadline for reciepts for furniture came up, my mom and older sister went fake shopping online, exaggerated what we had to seem nicer/more expensive/brand new, and charged a company or credit card of my sister's they knew wouldn't work, for the reciepts. I'm angry I didn't get a recording of this, because I was in a bad mental headspace at the time, and now she denies it and deflects, and like pulls the whole darvo thing on me. I'm 90 percent sure it was a company card, but it could just be a credit card or whatever, bc my sister is neck deep in debt. I remember being genuinely disappointed to realize that they weren't shopping for a new place, bc we were staying with my mom's bf at that point. (Yes, she used the insurance money to fly us overseas. We are still overseas because she made us overstay our welcome. There are a lot of moving parts. In other news, we're in an asylum center and about to go back home, so it's my 3rd time with red cross 'helping' my family. Helping is a loose term, not because ion respect them, but because I wish people looked into her more...)
Anyways, yeah, motive for arson, lying about what was in the homes, claiming us incorrectly and splitting the profits. And that's just what fits under irs. So like....[insert scream]. Do tell me if I need to offer more info. Like I wanna know what she'll get pinned for, how much proof I personally need to provide, and what a paper trail will likely do for me. Obviously the burning houses, if proven, will help us get into a placement, with the cps stuff, and just add more proof that she's not fit to be a parent. Thanks for reading, and your time.
