Can anyone explain a good way to go about patching this?

I also have fabric glue.
It’s for my friend so I want to make sure it will hold up. They’re ’work pants’ at a sort of desk job. He just likes them because they’re stretchy jegging material.

Do I need to hem the edges of the patch I cut out too?

Little guy has not shown much growth compared to his siblings (shown with)

Wondering if it’s a genetic thing or other? He gets lots of food! Been monitoring him and he’s always been very active and healthy showing no signs of ill health.

Is it possible to sew this by hand? I’m not sure how to do it. I think it needs a patch?

My roomate asked me to fix a couple pairs of jeans. One was easy but this one seems like it needs a patch due to the side and location. It’s right on the thigh just under the front pocket.

What do you think?

Oh noes. Peppered Cory Big Bertha is too chonky.

I readjusted the rock to prevent this don’t worry. She’s a real wingnut though. Probs the silliest of my gang. She’s my biggest too and all the men favour her. I want to try and measure her length with a ruler to show how big she is because she’s a UNIT.

Too many Cory’s in my tank?

So I have a 20gal tank with

7 adult Cory (some are quite chonky over 3.7!) as well as 6, 2 month old toddlers

Additionally:
1 thick lipped gourami (not super sure of sex)
1 female Bristlenose
3 khuli loaches
2 Asassin snails

Issue is they are all pretty much bottom dwellers apart from my gourami who too likes to chill at the bottom a lot.

I’d like to get more khuli loaches because I know they would be happier, but… what do yall think? Should I rehome some of the fry?

[FS/FT] - Kingston, ON - $5+ - Peppered Cory babies

Very healthy! All hatched fry survived and active. Pictured is some of parents. My 20gal long tank is already near max capacity, so in order to maintain peace, I’m rehoming!

Reminder to brush your teeth tonight. Tonsil swab.

Not sure if NSFW worthy, but just in case.

It’s a cheap Temu microscope but I’m broke atm so it’s making do until I can save for a good one.

100x with a 25x eye piece. Very diluted methylene blue stain added immediately after swabbing and applying to slide.

Captured via iPhone 14 using a mount.

I’m not sure what the bacteria species are. Though I know the very tiny ones seem to have a flagellum (no it’s not what you think, many prokaryotes have this feature). I can also depict some larger slower-moving bacteria species but can’t say what.

Sorry for the unintended nightmare fuel. Hope you find it cool lol.

I do weekly water changes, or more when necessary. Use API stress + coat conditioner as well as a plant nutrient (shown) as directed.

About two weeks ago I used this Bio-clear solution which works by breaking down the algae (I think?) and was successful, however I don’t think it’s the culprit because this issue has been persistent for a longer time!

Any advice or opinions are welcome!

Some details:
Tank: 20 g
7 adult peppered Cory
5 toddler peppered Cory
One something lipped gourami
A bristle nose pleco
3 khuli loaches
2 Asassin snails
Bladder snails (pest)

Parameters:
All pristine.
It’s got the same sponge in it for over a year and is a very established tank.
