New home new kitchen! Recommend me kitchen cook sets and tools please I want to reinvent my cooking space.

Hi all,

I never did before but ive started to take my cooking a bit more serious and I have for the most part taken over all cooking in the house and started to deliver more and more home cooked meals AND I have been enjoying it. Thnking about finding some courses to go one too.

We have just moved home and the kitchen its a state for now, my kitchen wear, knives, tools, pots and pan, chopping board, storage systems, EVERYTHING I have it like a 20 year old tescos wobbly plastic handled poor mans version..my stuff is just terrible for real. I want to invest and be into a whole new kitchen set up and vibe with decent things, time to go pro. I see Gordan Ramsey uses Hexclad, I could dabble there and more stainless things. I will also want and clean and wipable storage systems even liek i imagine a magnetic wooden wall knife rack, easily wipeable.

I have a 80cmx1.5mx1.5x larder built into the wall that the door is counter high - I need ideas to like fit this out too, its deep and awkward leaning over a counter to access it but its a tonner of kitchen space. The door open onto the counter.

So im here to use the community to recommend and suggest things to me so I can take a look and see whats what.

Please reccomend chef/cooking things :) even draw organisers so i can.

New to Fishing and Caught a bass - where is best S.England Holiday for Family AND i can sneak some decent fishing in?

Hi all,

Clueless about fishing as i just started 3 days ago but was loads of fun chilling at the beach in this heatwave; was 10 degrees cooler at the beach and i caught a bass off a Lowestoft beach next to a groyne.

Im posting here asking for your southern/south east England family holiday destination suggestions where i Can happily pop out and do some lure fishing AND its a great chill location for the family to enjoy - just the 3 of us.

I dont know all the terminologies yet but im doing coastal Lure fishing, working features and also I tried launching it out to sea and reeling in to see what happens .. think thats called Surf fishing.. im not sure.

I have ONLY caught a Bass and would like to catch more. I have some feathers to try Mackerel fishing too oneday..if i can catch more species then this would be great.

From what ive seen online Dorset sounds quite popular, any personal favoured spots for fishing and Holiday stuff?

Also

Feel free to suggest fishing gear, lines lures etc that I can look into at your suggested destination.

My gear:

savage gear v2 weedless sandeel lure and i think my line is 20lb braided and my rod is 7ft and 50g.. other than the lure the rod and line were from a cheap set for £50 in the fishing shop at Great Yarmouth - dont know much about it.

I tie my line to a metal leader that has a clasp amd swivel that i just stick the lure on.

I also posted this in another group too but Reddit suggested after that i post here which i hadnt heard of :) here i am!

Thumbnail design advise on my channel - struggling.

Hi

I htought i would reach out as Im after some guidance/assistance with my thumbnails. My CTR is super low and I personally feel like im really trying, so i would like an example or guidance on what to do..

it is EastWest Bushcraft & Outdoors - Me and the community would not appreciate AI's help in design and thumbnail creation. I would say the hyper click-baity style thumbnails are not the goal of the channel and a lot of the community.

Recently I have stated to try and do less in the thumbnail and also i've been working on my photography and taking seperate images for a thumbnail.

I want them to be smart, hint of curiosity and cool not whimsical.

If anyone can help me up my game here i'd appreciate it.

▲ 7 r/knives

Hi all,

I just picked this knife up in an 'antiques' shop in the ww2ish looking section, that doesnt mean its from then but i was wondering if there is anyone here that might know some information on this type of knife, likely places it was built, what the type of wood might be (might be oak stained) ?

I dont know the steel type and no makers marks on it.

Its 3.1/4 inches and non locking

Feels real nice and sturdy- will be a very nice resoration.

My Son turns 1 in a few weeks and I thought of making a type of time capsule and future present for him so in 20ish years i would gift him it.

I would like to get him some bushcraft and outdoors gear that would be of a high quality.

What should i put in it?

However! No knives (id let him choose one himself and sooner) and no clothing. I want quality and heirloom quality

Or based on the time capsule present idea, what would you do?
