Need recommendations of Indian books which are not inspired by ITV.

I am feeling bored so I need to find a few books to utilise my time with which are not based on ITV. I don't want innocent y/n type FLs, saas-bahu type of genres and alpha MLs who are richer than ambanis. Books of any genre is fine. I have read Bombay romance and it's a good book. Need books similar to that also but I am also fine with anything else.

Edit : only indian book, also don't want two girls or two guys fighting over the leads.

Do you think that racism against South Asians will fade away in a few years.

The blatant racism against indians and other South Asians on social media is making it hard for me to be in international spaces. I have seen racism against indians being brushed off by people of other ethnicities and nationalities and even by a few indians themselves. I was wondering if this will ever go away in a few years since the government isn't doing anything to stop this hate. I don't think that they even care. According to me , it's just getting worse on reddit. Ik that some of you may say that it's only on the internet but I am worried that it would transcend into real life hate. We don't even have soft power and we can't utilise our entertainment industry. I am feeling rather helpless rn.

Edit : will it be the same in the next decade?

I posted on r\twoxchromsomomes talking about the normalisation of racism against Indians and I got shut down instead.

So I had made a post on twox chromosomes talking about this and there were a lot of people downplaying the racism towards us and some of them were calling me a part of the problem for telling them to not generalise all Indians because of a few people. It was honestly disappointing to see this in a feminist subreddit, almost made me want to leave that subreddit. To my ABCDs and other diaspora Indians , I know that I am not supposed to post here but please be careful and do defend yourself against this. Things are getting worse. Stay strong and don't let anyone put you down because of our ethnicity. I emphatise with you and do not trust liberal spaces easily , they will not help you. There were people in the comment section who were nice but I mostly got dismissive comments. We must stand up for ourselves and support each other.

Thank you for listening to my rant

I hate how normalised racism is against indians

I am an indian and I was recently watching this video on youtube about how normalised racism is against indians due to certain exaggerated sterotypes. I just saw the recent comments down the video and I was appalled at the casual racism by the commentators , its my birthday today and i was really disheartened by the comments. I thought that it would get better but its just getting worse as the months pass by. They kept justifying the casual racism against indians. I feel like the whole world hates us and I even see other POCs jumping into the hate, no platform is safe for us. I get that India is not a perfect country and it has its own share of flaws but that does not mean that we deserve being treated less than humans. I am even reluctant to go abroad thanks to the normalisation of racism against my nationality.

Edit: Thank you for your wishes and your lovely comments. I am honestly disappointed but not surprised by some people justifying racism and I am getting down voted for standing up against the prejudices and for asking people to not generalise an entire nationality just because of a few bad apples.

Edit: I will be taking a break from the internet and there are some redditors who are still posting racist comments here.
