I am starting law school and looking to potentially purchase loops. I used foam ear plugs throughout college, but I truthfully need as little sound as I can when studying in public. I get very overstimulated and distracted with others conversations, movements, and noises. That said, I considered switch so I could use them in various environments? Any thoughts?

I am starting law school in the fall at a school ranked in the 60s ish. I know that sometimes schools are a bit culturally different, so I thought I’d include that!

I have a few questions about clothing. I know that people don’t wear suits to class, but what is appropriate for class? Where are good places to shop for clothing that is still professional but not over the top? What are some basics you recommend that I have before 1L? I’m super short, and sometimes finding good staples can be difficult.
