Mike Viola - Diamonds of New York (Live Debut w/ Brendon & Jake Backing Vocals) [No audience screaming + No Verse 2 Interruption] | April 19th, 2022

When Mike first played this song, Brendon & Jake were on backing vocals... but randomly someone in the audience screams in the middle of it which kinda throws off the vibe, and in the middle of verse 2, Mike interrupts the song to tell a quick story (which throws off the whole song lol). I edited both of them out seamlessly! I hope you all enjoy

Does anyone have any connections to ShockHound? (Hot Topic music division 2008-2011)

Hi yall
I’m working on a project that involves tracking down footage from a concert.

On October 15th 2008 in Boise, ID, Hot Topic sponsored a show at the Boise Towne Square Mall for the band Panic At The Disco.

ShockHound recorded two interview/behind the scenes videos of the show, and these videos included professional footage of the show.

Watch them both here: [Interview](https://youtu.be/BiB-sZl7HQM?si=r2WWxvkkViBZBMTt) … [behind-the-scenes](https://youtu.be/VAgbvJhTRXs?si=P7Mv4Qr3Y3tyz8Wt)

Local radio station Magic 93.1 seemed to have also been a part of the event ([HERE](https://youtu.be/hXB3S8lGUaQ?si=pWZOWlC\_7Ot34i5V) you can see one of their hosts announcing the band right before they go on stage)
I’ve tried reaching people involved at the radio station but have only hit dead ends.

If anyone knows someone who used to work at ShockHound around this time, that would be a huge help!
Thanks yall

Does anyone know the names of the crew behind the One Of THOSE Nights music video?

Hi y'all! I'm working on a project, and some of the background footage in this music video would be an insane help. If anyone can give me any names from the behind-the-scenes of this video, it would be a huge help! Thanks!

Interview with Ringmaster Roger! (Summer 2006 Tour/Live In Denver) [ANNOUNCEMENT]

Hi everyone! I run the breadbin urie Panic! archive channel on YouTube!

You read the title! Within the next month, I'll be interviewing Ringmaster Roger!

He played the Ringmaster performer on the second half of the Summer 2006 Tour, replacing the first Ringmaster, Shrine!

I've been in contact with him for about a month now and he's told me a ton of cool stuff already! Biggest bombshell so far: he choreographed Camisado!

Here's what he told me about that:

We only got the song and the description of what the song was about.. i just loosely interpreted it into a vaudeville piece based off of what i heard but without making it too literall. I just thought of a man in a hosiptal bed with that beeping sound where you see the line blip to represent the heartbeat.. and I imagined ones life being held by that line.. like being on puppet strings that could potentially be cut off.. and went from there with my puppet character trying to control and put together the falling apart happening with the other two puppets but it being a bit of a messy and chaotic experience.. that was what my choreography represented

He's also sent me a ton of photos that I'll feature in the video so stay tuned for that! Many of them I believe have never been seen before! (He said "I still own a stack of Polaroids"!)

I haven't got a list full of questions yet... so that's why I'd like to ask you all! Please send me ALL the questions you can think of! If you've ever wanted to know anything about this tour or about the band in this era... NOWS YOUR CHANCE!
Please spread the word :)

The interview should (hopefully) be uploaded on July 22nd... Live In Denvers 20th birthday :) I'll keep you guys updated!

(I don’t know if we’re allowed to plug our own servers on this Reddit… but in risk of this getting taken down: https://discord.gg/5fuCwQ9ApR …There’s an early announcement about something else that might be even crazier than the interview! 😉Something about never before seen footage…)

My pc keeps loading into BIOS! Help!

My pc completely froze the other day, then when it finally unfroze, no buttons worked. I could only move my mouse around the screen but I couldn’t click anything. I manually pressed the power button on the tower, but now it only loads into the bios. I’ve clicked “load optimized defaults” and done just about everything else Google has told me to do. It won’t get me to the Windows “enter password ” screen.

I’m soft locked on my own computer. please help :(

Magic 93.1 Radio - October 2008 (Repost from a few months ago)

Hi everyone! You may remember this post from a few months back, I hope it isn’t against the rules to post this again… but I wanted to try and see if the right people would find this post this time. Last time I posed this it just led to a dead end, so I hope this time I’ll have more luck. Thanks y’all.

I'm an archivist of things relating to the band Panic! At The Disco, and any contact info for this specific Boise radio station (that I think doesn't exist anymore? But it also may've just changed names?) would be a great help.

The band played a special show in the parking lost of the Boise Towne Square Mall on October 15th of 2008. The show was sponsored by Hot Topic and hosted by Magic 93.1

[THIS VIDEO](https://youtu.be/hXB3S8lGUaQ?si=dBcFaN3_MssY3kCn) shows Miggy Santos (who I assume was a host on the radio station) introducing the band right before they come on stage.

[THIS VIDEO](https://youtu.be/VAgbvJhTRXs?si=X9g7Xbq6IAYA8F2i) as well as [THIS INTERVIEW](https://youtu.be/BiB-sZl7HQM?si=4WIGYK15V9-Y_jCy) include professional footage from this show.

This show took place during the bands Rock Band Live tour, although it wasn't an official part of the tour. However, it used the same setlist as the tour. Which means it had the extended version of We're So Starving, the A Fever You Can't Sweat Out Medley (which was only done on a few other nights on the tour), When The Day Met The Night, as well as their cover of Shout by the Isley Brothers. (There's no audience footage to confirm it, but this show MIGHT have also included their cover of I Want You (She's So Heavy) by The Beatles, which the band used at a few shows to transition between the songs But It's Better If You Do & I Write Sins Not Tragedies)

Absolutely no professional footage exists for any of these songs. And no full show from the Rock Band Live Tour was ever released.

If any of you guys down in Boise would perhaps be in contact with- or you yourself used to work at Magic 93.1, please let me know! I'd love to see if a full cut of this show still exists out there.

[Here's a playlist of all the audience footage I was able to find on YouTube](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxYigUbjsonIKMYcjYkbjHzC3oPDoNYBy&si=W9imitzlLTMIBXAk), and [here are some good quality fan recordings posted by a fan on Vimeo](https://vimeo.com/showcase/38725).

I'm (of course) not from Boise, so a lot of the research I'm trying to do could perhaps be clouded by me not being a native- as well as the fact that I keep getting results for radio stations in MY area with similar names. Thank you all!

A Fever You Can't Sweat Out (Accompanying Videos) - My personal "Must Watch" list

Howdy! I'm a Panic! fan with way too much time on their hands.

Here's a list of all the accompanying videos that I believe are mandatory for fully understanding/appreciating the Fever Era! Let me know if there's anything I missed, and if you guys wanna see posts like this for each album!

-In The Studio Recording “A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out"

Pretty self explanatory. A 4-and-a-half minute long video edited together by the band using footage of the original 4, as well as producer, Matt Squire in the studio piecing together their debut album! I believe this was originally released on the bands website or MySpace page very early on.

-I Write Sins Not Tragedies (Beyond The Video)

An official behind the scenes video taken on the set of the I Write Sins Not Tragedies music video. Includes insight from all 4 members.

-MTV2: Panic! At The Disco Makes A Video (But It's Better If You Do)

Essentially a much more detailed "Beyond The Video"/Behind The Scenes look at the process behind the But It's Better If You Do music video!

It features Brendon giving a tour of the set, details about the wardrobe/makeup, insight from the director, Shane Drake, the choreographer, Merry Harper, the wardrobe stylist, Jamie Drake, but also quick interviews with the other actors & dancers, as well as, of course, the band members themselves! A lot of cool stuff is revealed such as the filming date of the music video (March 27th!), and the behind-the-scenes names for each room used in the music video, the location for the different scenes (Lacy Street Production Center & The Derby), as well as the fact that the room in the beginning of the video was the same room from the movie "Catch Me If You Can"!

-Live at the Astoria (April 25th, 2006)

One of the earliest full concert recordings. Brent was still in the band and some songs have interesting re-arrangements/song transitions. They cover Round Here by Counting Crows & Slow Motion by Third Eye Blind (both of which I have bawled my eyes out to). This was Live In Denver before Live in Denver. (Build God & I Write Sins were both officially released on the Lying Is The Most Fun... Single CD)

-d'FUSEd: Making The Video: Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off

Same thing as the But It's Better If You Do "Makes A Video"... but for Lying Is The Most Fun instead (lol)!

The director and the band explain the concept behind the video, and it has interviews with the actors and even a quick interview with the fish wrangler! The wardobist discusses her thought process behind the bands outfits and the people in the art department talk about the building of the fish tank heads and we also learn that for half the shoot, the band was subbed out for body doubles! Definitley worth a watch if you love the music video.

  • Summer Tour

-MTV News: Panic! At The Disco's 'Moulin' Makeover

A quick, but fairly in depth interview with the crew behind the bands outfits on the 2006 Summer Tour. Has brief shots of concept art It has a brief word from Spencer. It came alongside the accompanying MTV Article.

-Live In Denver (2006/2025)

This needs no introduction lol

BUT... this might:

-Live In Denver (MOVIE VERSION)

This was released alongside Live In Denver in the original Deluxe Box Set. It features the entire concert with spliced in clips of the band backstage, interviews with audience members, rehearsal footage, and other fun bits! Definitley worth watching next time you wanna re-watch Live In Denver!

(This is also the original source of the infamous "Are you gonna play the bells, Jon?" clip)

-A Summer of Panic! [No audio]

"In the summer of 2006, "Panic! at the Disco" went on tour across the US. / Lucent Dossier Vaudeville Cirque were their featured performers. / What follows is performer (Ringmaster) Roger's images & memories of that tour...."

This one is a bit different. It's pretty much all muted footage with an instrumental laid over it, but I believe it has really interesting backstage and pre-show footage of Panic! and the Dresden Dolls, as well as photos of the band in their infamous rehearsal space!

-Backstabber: Dresden Dolls VS Panic! At The Disco (Music Video)

Fun music video heavily featuring the band as well as Lucent Dossier. Recorded during Summer Tour 2006. Really good song, really funny video!

  • Nothing Rhymes With Circus Tour

-MTV Overdrive: Panic! At The Disco

Backstage footage of the band right before the first show of the tour (November 7th) as well as snippets of a few songs (including the tour exclusive covers of Killer Queen & Elenore Rigby, as well as the Drumline), and brief interviews explaining why they chose to cover those two songs. Some of the only pro-shot footage from this tour and one of the only interviews where they talk directly about the tour.

-Live From Fairfax, VA (Partial Live Album) [November 11th, Patriot Center]

  1. Lying Is The Most Fun...
  2. I Write Sins Not Tragedies
  3. The Only Difference.../But It's Better If You Do/Build God, Then We'll Talk [Partial Clips]
  4. Intermission (Live at Madison Square Garden) [No audio]
  5. Show Director Video Montage [No audio]

Very little footage was officially released from this tour (and if you saw my other post from a few months ago... I'm working on it!) But for now, this is a collection of all the footage we've got. This tour was essentially the Summer Tour on steroids and more fit the creative vision I believe the band wanted for that tour. This was their first Arena Headlining tour and cemented the bands early aesthetic. I think it's integral to understand the era as a whole, seeing as this was the last tour before they wrapped it up for Fever (minus a few one off shows like New Years Eve). PrettyOddFever actually recreated a full set using fan footage, and I seriously recommend watching!

-BONUS!

The bands second ever acoustic performance @ Virgin Megastore

(This was the only acoustic performance of "There's a Good Reason...")

-Truckstops & Statelines Tour (Set recreation by PrettyOddFever)

Even this early into their career, you can see how fucking dope these guys were live. There's also a professional recording of "The Only Difference" that I think is insane to hear. It includes an early live version of introduction.

-The surprise acoustic set from June 24th, 2007.

This was the only acoustic performance of "The Only Difference...", and also includes their performance of What's My Age Again by blink-182 WITH Mark Hoppus!

-The Theatre Of Imagination (Unlicensed/Unauthorized Documentary)

I include this in the bonus category because it has A LOT of inaccuracies, but it does have actual interviews from people close to the band (including Brent Wilson [former bass player], one of Brendon’s old teachers, the owner of their practice space, multiple of the Lucent Dossier dancers from the Summer Tour). It also has some really cool footage, but promptly mislabels them by saying its from a completely different show. I wouldn’t recommend this documentary if you actually want to learn about the bands early history, but I think the interviews make it worth a watch.

Pretty sure thats everything! Again, let me know if I missed anything! Thanks guys!
