Man I love when making a choice is easy...Canadian company, cleanest ingredients on the shelf, reasonably priced. And every new flavour is better than the last. GURU please never stop this is my drug of choice for school and work lol
Hi all. I drive south on keele to YorkU most days and the only problematic part is crossing hwy7, there is such a backlog that it always takes 3-5 light cycles to get through, especially due to many large and slow transport trucks.
Back when I had 11am classes, traffic was not a problem at all. But now I have earlier classes and the commute takes straight up 2 times longer because of this intersection.
My question: is there a time in the morning where traffic is lighter? I've tried leaving at 9am, 8am, and I'm wondering whether it's any better at 7 or 6? or do I just give up?
I'm also considering trying taking hwy 7 and turning left onto keele, but I'm guessing that's just as bad.
Appreciate any input! Thanks
I'm taking ADMS 2510 online and we have to install this predatory application for the entire semester just to complete weekly quizzes worth 10% total...all this when I could just google stuff on my phone?? What can be done to protest this?
The app needs basically every single permission enabled on your computer. Which means if they wanted to, they could instantly access ALL my information. And I bet if it ends up being some kind of malware/virus/scam york will not do jack shit to help. I'm getting sick and tired of this constant BS every day with York. 1.3 Billion in annual revenue just to be treated like gum on the bottom of a shoe
Although I'm a die hard fan of the podcast, it's sad to see the state of the vlogs. Why is everything on the internet nowadays either goon bait or gambling content. We waited so long for David to return to youtube just to get this slop. Sad stuff. Genuinely soulless content. It doesn't hit the same in 2026 when they're all 30+.
Would love to step up as moderator for the zevia zero sugar soda community, I love zevia products as they have been life changing as someone with insulin resistance and various autoimmune diseases! Everyone should be able to enjoy soda 😄
These brought back some nostalgic childhood memories, really enjoyed
Took it online this summer with Prof. Julio Fonseca. Honestly at first I was a bit turned off about having to do 2x 3 hour classes per week on zoom. But attendance/participation is worth 30% of your grade. So I realized I'd still prefer that over having to write 2 difficult exams on campus.
The course is honestly manageable, there is no such thing as an easy course but if you care about learning basic spanish then it's not that difficult. Most of the required effort is during the zoom class, which was also usually closer to 2 hours. To get full participation marks you simply need to be paying attention when he calls your name or asks a question.
Other than that there's basic homework, quizzes, short tests, oral presentation, etc. Like I said it's honestly not hard if you paid attention in class.
TLDR: Elementary spanish is a great online 6C course if you can commit to attending classes, and somewhat care about learning basic spanish. Also if you already know some french its definitely way easier.

There are like a dozen sections which were all full before my enrolment day in early June. If all BCom degrees have to take this course, why aren't there more sections? I emailed them and was told i'll be put on a waiting list if a new section opens. Maybe we should all email them to push for it?
Hi all. I've recently started experimenting with MCT oil (not 100% confident that it's working for me yet, see below), but anyways using a dropper to apply it to my scalp is inconvenient because it always leaves my hair greasy by the time I'm done applying it to the scalp. I remembered seeing this scalp applicator thing somewhere and gave it a shot and I think it's actually quite good. People in the reviews complain that it doesn't release much fluid for their purposes but I think that's perfect for this situation. I just tried it and was able to easily apply a thin layer directly onto my entire scalp, barely getting any on my hair, and it used significantly less oil than with the dropper. Hopefully this helps, I know for a lot of people MCT is a miracle and this is an easier, more precise way to apply it. It also seems perfect for taking with you on the go or even travelling.
Never in 3 years have i had an issue with a professor or course until now, let alone to this degree. I’ll keep it short. Ian Lumb does not gaf. I had the misfortune of taking weather climate and artificial intelligence with him and it was brutal.
The lectures are half assed and unengaging, with loud construction noise in the background the entire time (year long course). Difficult labs, assignments, quizzes, and exams graded poorly even after completing all the requirements to a high standard, with little to no feedback given. does not respond to emails for help period.
A month ago I sold an item and shortly after noticed my number of reviews went up by one, but no matter where I looked (order details, incognito mode) I couldn't find this review. I assumed the buyer might've deleted it or there was some kind of glitch. This week, same thing, another item sold and feedback number went up by one, but I can't find this feedback anywhere. Has anyone else experienced this??
ETA: When I click on my feedback profile, it shows "positive feedback received in the past month: 2" so I know I'm not crazy! But below that, under "all received feedback" it's blank 😭
Absolutely outrageous this should be illegal wtf...$240 for digital access to a SPANISH textbook? I have never paid over $70 for a textbook in over 20 courses I've taken so far. That's over a 10% increase in the cost of the course that was never disclosed. A fully online course with no in person components. Highway robbery.
I've been a frappe addict my whole life and have been trying for years to recreate a solid dairy free version. I think my current recipe is about as good as it'll get so I thought I'd share. All the proportions are approximate, you can tweak them to create a thicker/creamier or more liquid drink. You can still make a great frappe even if you don't have all the ingredients, but this combo gave me the best results in terms of flavor and consistency.
-Strong coffee and/or hot chocolate, 1/2 cup
-Oat milk or similar creamy plant milk, 1/2 cup
-Coconut ice cream, I use vanilla, 1/2 cup
-Coconut whipping cream, 1/2 cup
-Ice, 1 cup
Enjoy! When you have the ingredients on hand it's a super quick and simple summer drink to put together.
Just saw this at Ambrosia and it's so good!
