No wonder we all miss the G6 😭

No wonder we all miss the G6 😭
I’m new to omnipod and understand that there is an 8 hour grace period after a pod expires. But my trainer told me there is no indication in the app for when that 8 hours will end (like it does for Dexcom’s grace period). Do people just set their own timer?
Came across this on Instagram and saw the 10-day has almost an 18% failure rate (28% for 15-day??). Also does anyone know more about this app?
Some of my insulin vials share the same lot with 17 and 26 other people. Does anyone know how many vials of insulin are produced in each “lot”? Just got me thinking that we are all probably using a lot of the exact same batch of insulin every day, which I never really thought of before. These must be huge lots, right? Like hundreds of thousands of vials?
Does anyone use the Stash app to keep their lot/serial numbers catalogued? I haven’t seen anything like it before and it’s actually a little addicting to use, and you can report Dexcom issues so other users get alerts to bad batches
I’m an omnipod user and started using Stash to check my boxes during the recall in March. I had all my lots saved and sure enough I got an automatic alert for the new lots which sucks but I don’t need to scramble to find my lot numbers. Fortunately I still have some unaffected pods as well. Just sharing in case anyone is stressed — and thank you to the dev, I think he’s active on this sub.
