AGENTIC LOGO IDEA TESTS

I had made a list of fictitious business names about 4 years ago when KITTL was known as Heritage Designer and we created everything from scratch (we still can and do that by the way)... just found that list, decided to see what AGENTIC would do with a few of them... 😉

VECTOR NODE TYPE MANIPULATION IN KITTL

Type Manipulation

* This effect can actually work with any font, but I was looking for a font where every letter is pretty much the same WIDTH. Tall, rounded, condensed fonts seem to work the best.

* In KITTL, some of the fonts I would try are: ASTEROID TYPE, BIG WHALE, BRIGHLY CRUSH, CHISATO, EKLAND, GONSER, GREENWASHING MACHINE, GRUNOLA, KNIFER, LANZE, LIONEL VIRGI, LOVELY KIDS, MOVIAST, OUTWARD, PARKWALL, ROGUEL.

* I am actually using a font I had in my personal collection called BRANS MEDIUM that I uploaded in to KITTL.

* Type out the word you want to manipulate.

* Make sure that word is selected, then either RIGHT CLICK and choose OUTLINE TEXT, or choose OUTLINE TEXT from the QUICK MENU that shows above your Artboard. It is listed in the Drop Menu where the three dots are showing. The reason for doing this is that you want to put the text/letters into VECTOR EDITING MODE.

* Click on the first letter. You want to click 2 or 3 times until you see the actual small round NODES appear for editing.

* Think where you might want to “stretch” that letter. For example, I am starting on a capital letter “C”. You might want to ZOOM IN as well. You need to select all of the NODES from the “center point” or “stretch point” down. Nodes are “selected” when they are filled in solid. To select nodes, you can either click on them individually, or drag across several nodes at once to select them.

* Once the nodes are selected, you want to pull down or “stretch” the letter. Place your cursor on the/or one of the bottom most node or nodes, then click and drag straight down. You can also hold down the SHIFT KEY while dragging down to keep everything straight. This will work as well if you want to “stretch” the letter UPWARDS, or stretch parts of a letter to either side.

* When you have “stretched” the letter to where you want it to be, either click off to the side several times to exit the node edit mode, or hit the ESC KEY on your keyboard.

* That’s pretty much it! Stretch and move each letter into a design you like. Practice makes perfect. The “hardest” part might be the double/triple click to get in to edit each letter individually.

If you want to “stretch” an entire word at once, after you OUTLINE TEXT, in the right hand panel click on UNION under the SHAPE BUILDERS section, then you can select certain nodes all at once to move them.

Agentic is GREAT for keeping consistent characters! 😉
I started an image of my character that I selected, then in Agentic I typed in this: “create four different and separate versions of this image with the subject in different dynamic poses and different facial expressions and different background scenes”
