I decided to load it up this Whopper Wednesday.

Plus onion rings, plus mustard, plus bacon, plus American, plus Swiss, plus BBQ, X lettuce.

Ketchup, mayo and onions as usual.

Minus pickles and minus tomatoes. I just don't like them, wish I did. Sorry, not sorry.

Would have added a patty but it wasn't allowed. Come on BK...

They finally didn't skimp me on the lettuce, but I had to pay.

It was a nice experiment, but I'm going back to cheeseless, add mustard next week.

But it sure is pretty!

Oh, this is how it came out of the box. I picked her up and she spread wide open for me.

I missed hot dog day because I forgot my wallet at home. Made up for it the day after.

The Chipper at Sahadi's. Or "da chippah" if you're ordering it right.

New Britain's own Martin Rosol frankfurter, chili, mustard and choice of Frito's or Lay's crumbled on top. And all over the rest of it and the bag, apparently. But is there really a choice? Frito's is the way on this beauty.

Five bucks. Big honkin crunchy rings, $3. Awesome big chunk chocolate chip, $1.

$1 large diet coke at McD's and that's one satisfying $10 lunch.

National Hot Dog day but I forgot my wallet this morning. So Whopper Wednesday it is.

The usual: no pickles, no tomatoes, add mustard and a patty.

Plus the $1 large Diet Coke deal from McD's.

So good, feeling pretty full.

They skimped on the lettuce, as seems to be the universal law at all BKs I've visited. Come on, BK. DO BETTER!

PS no fluffing or butt squeezing for the glamor shot. Pulled back the wrapping and it opened up to greet me.

Two weeks ago I ordered a double cheeseburger, 40% off deal, extra patty. I got zero patties.

This past Sunday I ordered a $2.69 McDouble from the under $3 menu, add a patty for a buck. I got no extra patty.

This time around, same as last time, I just walked back to the counter, as I was eating inside. No driving back hassle. I told the manager and held out the burger, wrapped and in the bag, to give it back. He waved me off, said keep it. Within 3 minutes I had a fresh triple patty mcdouble plus one mcdouble. Honestly it was more food than I wanted and I felt like a whale after.

Both tasted fine, like normal mcd burgers, and the rest of the order was correct: no pickles, add mayo and lettuce. So overall, not a terrible experience, just kind of funny to have missing patties two visits in a row.

Some day I want to have a mistaken _extra_ patty. Just one time lol.

And before everyone starts ranting about why are you going to McDonald's - its across the street, I just want to get out of the house and work on my laptop on their wifi, library is closed and I hate the smell of coffee. So I order a cheap moderately tasty burger and sit there working for a few hours, guzzling too many diet coke refills. It works for me. Once the refills are gone, I'll be, too.

If you think they got better you are on serious drugs lol

The breakfast sandwich one was BOGO. Now they they take $0.39.

39 cents? Are doing ok, McD? Do you need a coupla bucks to hold you over?

The $0.79 fries with a drink purchase used to be buy a drink, get fries free. Now they need the loose change in my center console.

I basically go there for cheap fountain diet cokes anymore and that's it. So that the dollar any size drink still there is nice. Though the full price is just 1.69 where I am, so....big whoop.

When they finally come for the cheap fountain diet coke and remove the refill fountain, i really can't see myself going there for anything anymore. I basically get my food elsewhere and swing by for a cheap diet coke. Then when I have points, a free burger. That's about it.

Ordered a double cheeseburger with an extra patty, no pickles add lettuce. Used the standing deal I have every day for 40% off a double cheeseburger.

What I got was this. It was no big deal and just funny because I was eating in the dining room and hadn't driven away. I just walked up and got a replacement that was fine.

Still hard to believe someone actually made this and wrapped it up and put it in the bag.

They love the Yankees at Sahadi's. And weed. They love weed a lot.

After years of using 7th Generation and wondering why my towels got sour so fast, I discovered this sub. I was really looking forward to using a real detergent and having clean towels. Costco guy said they literally just sold out. Oh well. Maybe next week when I return they'll have it back in stock.
