Looking for recommendations based on my current collection!

So this is my current collection. I've also got Wolverine Omnibus volumes 1 & 2 arriving next week (have heard the rest of the volumes aren't that great).

Ones I have my eye out for already in case they get reprinted or I find a decently priced copy are:

- Daredevil by Brubaker vol 1 & 2

- Punisher MAX vol 2 (Ennis)

- Hickman's Avengers vol 1 & 2

- Hickman's Secret Wars

- Astonishing X-Men by Whedon

- New X-Men by Grant Morrison

I'm looking for recommendations based on what I currently have, as well as any opinions on the ones on my list (as in, whether any of them aren't worth it, or if anyone knows where to find a decently priced copy of any of them)

Thanks in advance!

Optimized my fullscreen unblockable TOD

Now only costs 81 bar to start. Needs full team, Gamma Rage and wallsplat.

Some wiggle room for some quick skills while still doing enough damage to kill, basically any time you see Hulk do a special and it doesn't say "Good!" on the side under the combo counter, know that that's a quick skill.

Notation:

5[H]>214M>delay A>quick dash>236M>22M>microdash 2M>delay 5H>jc>j.6H>delay j.H>2HH>j.214L>5[H]>U>A>U>A>5[H]>22H>623H>j.236H>214L>super

Finally made it to Master with Hulk. I agree with everyone who says he shouldn't go on point but I am stubborn.

And now my watch has ended.

The thing I love the most about doing Magneto's super into Wolverine's

It looks like the last thing Magneto throws at you is Wolverine

One thing I didn't realise about the new Fastball Special

Is that it lets you leap at the same time as you throw, I'm sure this wasn't a thing before.

Checked in practice mode after this match and now, if you're charging your leap BEFORE you charge your Logan, you see two arrows when charging up the throw (one for Logan and one for your leap). I'm sure the old fastball special didn't let you leap at the same time, am I bugging?

This season made throwing you runts insanely fun

I've had a couple Ranked matches with some of you Logangs who just fully understood the assignment. Taking out at least a healer and a tank every time we dive, getting Hulk's fury boost off of throwing Wolverine is amazingly fun, especially if Wolverine also has his enhanced team-up. Hoo lord.

One tip I have had to give is to let the Wolverine know that if I press the team-up button, I can't use any of my cooldowns (clap, stun or bubble) until he accepts the team-up so it's useful if they listen out for the prompt and can activate it quickly.

You guys found any new fun in the Fastball Special?

PSA: Pierce is currently bugged

EDIT: As pointed out by somebody in the comments, Healpool can't pierce through allies at all, only enemies (though still bugged like the other Pools in that it veers off at an angle)

Mainly posting this for anyone considering using the unupgraded Hela team-up on Healpool to upgrade guns thinking the pierce makes it worth it.

As you can see in the video, DP's bullet pierce with Hela team-up is a bit wonky, and the bullets don't pierce straight through. Instead they come out at an angle to the right. This makes it quite unreliable, you're not gonna be lining up the perfect angle in the middle of a team fight to get the benefit. When I shoot the bots, you can see that the only healing the bot furthest from me gets is from the emoji (and in a situation like this, there'd be no added benefit to the emoji auto-aim).

Personally I don't think Hela team-up is worth it on Healpool. I've seen some people laud the extra heals from the auto-aim emoji, but I still think Gambit team-up is worth it for the extra mobility and still being able to melt squishies.

Healpools, any of you bothering with unupgraded Hela team-up?

My general go-to is to start with Gambit team-up until I get a fair few upgrades. With Tankpool I then switch to un-upgraded Hela team-up for either guns or swords depending on their comp, for DPSpool I stick with Gambit team-up unless Hela is on the team.

For Healpool so far I'm basically doing the same as with DPSpool, just using Gambit team-up unless Hela is on the team, but I'm curious if any of you are using un-upgraded Hela team-up on Healpool at all.

QUESTION FOR VENOM MAINS

So with the new changes, Double G and Zhiyong have addressed a lot of my issues with Hulk's design. I felt he lacked damage, I felt he lacked that "HULK SMASH" feel, his two new abilities provide this.

I had often seen that Venom fans didn't like how they had adapted Venom. Less-so for is overall playstyle of hiding in the shadows and pouncing to fuck shit up, and more surrounding the design of his primary. A pinpoint of back tentacles just felt wrong as Venom's primary.

So I'm curious, does the new Phoenix team-up lean into the character fantasy for you guys more?

HULK WON'T BE IN BAN JAIL

There won't be "meta bans", there's so much stupid shit in the game now that the ban system will become "ban whatever counters your team". Hulk will get some bans, as will everyone, but the door shall be opened.

u/Lobo_Z — 3 months ago

I'm naming the two Hulk loadouts "HULK SMASH" and "YOU WOULDN'T LIKE ME WHEN I'M ANGRY".

I will not be accepting substitutes.

Healpool tip

One of the problems with Healpool is that nobody knows what he does. People constantly harp on about him not having utility like other healers.

Well what they really mean is he doesn't have CC. Because, for my money, Healpool has some of the best utility in the game: When you upgrade Deadpool In Your Area, it now provides a *20% Damage Boost* to yourself and any allies in the circle. This is huge. But nobody seems to know about it. Healpool players don't even seem to know about it.

So my tip, which I've started doing is... Just tell them.

At the start of every match, I'll say "Yo btw. My R1 ability is a healing circle, when upgraded it also gives a 20% dmg boost if you're inside it". I'll then pop R1 in the spawn room to show them what I'm on about.

Since I started doing this, I find people clamoring to the circle any time I pop it (obviously I also try and follow my team with it, but now it's less of a one-sided battle of me tryna chase them to give them a damage boost). I've started upgrading DPIYA first, even, due to the extra value I get from it when my team actually knows what it does.

20% damage boost for 5 seconds every 12 seconds is huge (for example, Cyclops is getting essentially a 20% damage nerf this coming patch, DPIYA negates that temporarily). It's only 5% less than Rocket's ult damage boost, and it's on a 12 sec cooldown!

It changes a lot of breakpoints for kills. But people, including the Deadpool players themselves, are neither aware of this nor using it to it's full advantage (I have seen so many Deadpools using this purely as the "self-heal/anti-dive" button and nothing else).

So go tell your teammates you have a pocket Super Saiyan mode for the team, watch them start actually making use of it, and start winning more team fights.

An Apocalypse season with no Cable or Nate Grey is a travesty

Am I the only person who would prefer a bit more of a theme with the seasonal villain + seasonal releases? Apocalypse would have been perfect for a season adding Cable and Nate Grey imo

The DBFZ Community Tierlist

And here it is, the Reddit DBFZ Community-voted tier list.

Characters are ordered within their tiers based on the votes (For example, a character that was voted S tier that had 2nd most votes for Top 5 would place higher than a character in S tier who's 2nd highest voted tier was A, for example).

There are definitely some placements I would personally move around, but let me know what you guys think of the end result!
