Ok, I took on all your feedback and sat down to do this properly. Titled: Talking.

**Edit: this is the correct mix. I realise I uploaded the one where I didn’t adjust the volume on the outro whoooops.

This is my first run at doing the best I can for mixing and mastering. I posted this 4 or 5 days ago and someone hit me up asking why I’d just post a short clip. Fair play. You helped keep me going to finish this. Had a crazy week at work been doing this in the evenings until midnight. Learned an absolute ton. Happy with how the song came out, I can pick a few things I’d change but I’m done. Very interested to hear your feedback on production quality changes and general groove of the song. This was recorded and mixed/mastered on my Iphone16 with GarageBand through a scarlet 2i2 interface, a rode M3 microphone and a 1982 Ibanez Artist and quite a lot of coffee. Thank you!

Don’t wanna talk - finished this one last night. Please give it a listen and let me know what you think. Thanks!

Hello hello, so I’m just camped out in my room every spare second I have putting these tracks together. Finished 8 this week just trying to pump out a bunch to select for the EP. This one was fun to write and record, it got me moving. Not happy with the solo guitar tone and mix, but again, I have limited time so just trying to conceptualise these things for further refinement. Let me know how it strikes you. Thanks. Also, album art is something I made a while back, part of a series of photographed silhouette sculptures.

I wrote this last week and recorded it tonight. I thought I was going to take some time to rest, but I guess I’m in need of the catharsis. As with all songs, there’s a story. Anyway, another demo. Another song. Another way to say something. Let me know what you think. Thank you.

Little different to the one I uploaded yesterday lol. Tonight’s little jam. I’ve only got an acoustic guitar and GarageBand on my phone so I know the mix is fucked but let me know how the groove is. Alright see ya all next week. Have a good one.

Usually blue but thought this effect from the sun hitting them side on made them look quite different.

Hello peoples. Sort of a re upload, but had a bit of time today and drafted another concept for the acoustic I uploaded yesterday. This is still very raw but your feedback was appreciated last time so I’d love to hear what you have to say about this when compared to the original draft concept. I uploaded some art I made for the EP, too. Gonna chill now let my voice heal up, will upload the final version down the line. It’s just the first verse and chorus this time. Thanks again!

I was dumb and thrashed my voice the other day so I’m stuck to a whisper but trying to practise writing. This one was funny. What do you reckon I could do to improve it? It’s a lazy chord progression I know…

Trying to sing more and get back into it after a long break. Any feedback you wanna give is welcome. Cya!

I have been singing for a while on and off, but I had always sung from my throat like I was trapped in there. Going up the register was really difficult for me. It still is, and I’m trying to fight the tension and compression. I just thought I’d post this and see what feedback you guys have on possible points of improvement. I was still tense there and I can feel the notes slipping from me. I had my first vocal lesson and I’m learning about the diaphragm. Will post again after 10 weeks. C u l8r sk8r
