Need frame recommendations

I’m a dad who is pretty active. I do yard work, work on cars, and will work out from time to time. Does any one have a good recommendation on glasses that will last? I used to believe in the brand Oakley, but their glasses don’t last as long as they used to anymore. I am a Costco member so I have access to all of the brand that they carry as well. I had a pair of glasses frames that maybe lasted me about a year and a half.

Center Console Shifter Upgrade

Has anyone tried upgrading their (2013-2014)pre-facelift interiors to the (2015-2018)post-facelift interiors? The shifter specifically. Everything LOOKS to be plug and play for swapping things over. I would like to shift in a straight line instead of moving it diagonally across also I think it looks more sleek. Let me know ES fam. TIA

Different interview process?

I’m looking to transition into a more fitting career (automotive industry) It’s my passion and I love helping people. Just posting to get a perspective from everyone. I have had 2 great interviews so far, then the shop owner asked me to come in next week but didn’t give a specific day. As far as anyone having experience with the auto repair industry, is it common to have a third meetup with the shop owner? I see it as perhaps unorthodox however, I think the owner wanting me to come back a third time in general is a good thing. I don’t judge anyone for doing things different. The shop is having a fundraiser this weekend so I can completely understand them needing more time to make a decision because onboarding is a bigger deal. TIA

$850 set of “Rays” scam?

These 19” wheels are for sale near me, based on what I’ve seen in this page it seems like a “too good to be true type thing”, unless I’m wrong. Let me know wheel friends. I asked the owner for pictures of the back of the wheels, no response yet. I checked the website though, ZE40 model doesn’t come in 19”.

Edit: I did get a picture of the back, waiting for a full picture though.

Wheel weight specs?

Found some Lexus OEM wheels by Enkei. Known as the “G spiders”. Does anyone know from experience what the weight would be per wheel or where to find the info? I’m trying to keep my unsprung weight down.

I’ve looked and found one entry via Ai saying 26lbs for the front which is 18x8 and 27lbs for the rear that is 18x8.5. I prefer someone with info from first hand experience though. TIA

I need help deciding.

The bronze or charcoal gray? The bronze really has my attention.

Shaved Badges

Shaved the badges of my hybrid. I love the cleaner look really. These cars are just so sleek and it’s grown on me the longer I’ve owned. (Yes I’m aware of the bumper, in progress of getting arrangements for painting it.)

Sus fitment?

So the wheels don’t clear the calipers, but if I shave a few mm off the caliper bracket they’ll fit. So, shave or just try a different wheel set? I’m not at a loss if I get a new wheel set. I’m so pissed because they look great on the car.

Real or Fake BBS?

What do we think fam? Real or fake? The price seems too good to be true, however one of the wheels does have a split lip which would require replacing. Let me know if we need more photos.

De-Chroming, thoughts?

I have a 2014 ES and have been toying with the idea of de-chroming and using black lug nuts instead of chrome with my gun metal color wheels. I know it’s definitely luxury but with it being a silver car, the black I think would look pretty cool. (Disregard the wheels in this picture.) ChatGPT messed up. However it did color the trim correctly and then it accidentally colored the door handles as well.

Anyone have experience putting Tesla rims on their Lexus? I found a sweet deal on some Model Y rims and they’ll fit perfectly on my ES (Offset, width, diameter, etc)
I just need to figure out the lug nut situation. I’m stuck there. I would appreciate any advice anyone has on this.

This is my car with some Highlander rims currently.

Thanks.
