Over the past few days, I’ve been designing and prototyping a modular Hot Wheels display system from scratch, and I’ve finally reached a version I’m genuinely happy with.

The idea was simple: Create something cleaner, lighter, and more customizable than typical fixed display shelves.

So I designed a modular hexagonal system where each unit connects together using NO EXTRA connector pieces, letting you expand the setup however you want: vertically, sideways, honeycomb layouts, desk setups, wall setups, etc.

Features:

• Modular & expandable design

• Designed to fit long and chonky castings as well

• Tool-less assembly/disassembly

• 3D printed and locally made

This went through multiple redesigns and prototypes to get:

-proper fitment tolerances

I’m opening a small first batch now mainly to get feedback from fellow collectors before scaling it further.
