Upvotes not "updating", why?

I've noticed that sometimes, on the insight page of my post, the hourly counter of upvotes (the green one) goes up, but the total counter of upvotes stays the same. Upvote ratio is 100%, so downvotes are not the answer. Why is it happening? The post is not older than 48 hours.

Let me make an example if I haven't been clear enough: suppose you have 10 upvotes at the beginning of hour 2 of your post. You refresh the insight page and the hourly upvotes counter is +1, but the total upvotes are still 10.

If someone upvoting and then canceling the upvote? Does reddit count that?

3.5 months in, should I get it shaped?

I use beard oil and leave-in conditioner or balm everyday. I also brush it everyday.

I trim neck line and stache weekly-ish.

I feel like it looks too messy from both the front and the side, I wish it looked tidier/more uniform.

Also I'm not happy with the sides of the stache. I let them grow since stache and beard don't connect, but now I think they're too long.

Patience starting to pay off

Almost 3 months in. Controlling the hair is getting tough, it doesn't want to point down. Might be time to get an actual balm (i'm using oil and a leave-in conditioner right now) or get the beard shaped finally
