Time to cancel Prime

I live in the tri-state area and I've had problems with USPS in my current apt. Every courier could get my address right except USPS which didn't really bother me as I get Informed Delivery in case I need to watch for something important.

I didnt notice a change until Amazon informed me via the app that my parcel was not delivered; something set for subscription. Gee, it's almost as if I purposely use Amazon to avoid this problem.

Time to go back to shopping in-store because the incentive I voluntarily pay for, is being off handed to the govt agency responsible for losing my mail in the first place, that I don't get to complain about and forced to pay thru taxes.

"Normalcy" is basically a slave subscription now

Going to a museum.

Paddle boating at a lake.

Cookout in the park.

Going to the movies.

Visiting the zoo.

All of these things used to be normal weekend summer activities. Now each event runs you about the cost of your birthday party. I can't afford to do that every week.

The USPS hates me

As a former stalking victim, it greatly distresses me that despite I have Informed Delivery turned on, and have for quite some time, the postman won't deliver my mail.

Even with confirmed, paid for address change, unless the post box where I live has my name on it, they will not leave my mail or packages.

I've lived in this apt since March, called a month ago when my first package was returned to sender to verify everything. My name was flagged and it's documented as a delivery problem.

Today, they sent my package back to the sender after attempting to drop it off again..twice. Another hour on the phone with USPS, but not the local one where the problem is. If I could talk to a fkn person AT THE POST OFFICE, I'd happily drive over and pick up my shit but they've been spiriting my shit away without consent.

Do I need to sit on the porch or is it genuinely not leaving the post office? How is it leaving the distribution center and making it all the way to my town, just for them to fail to deliver it (twice in a day!), and send it back when I can't even intercept my own fucking mail at the local fucking office?

I hate it here. I pay too much for rent to have to buy a post box too. I'm not putting my name in front of a home I reside when I won't even park out front (remember the reason).

I know it's a liability issue, but trust, I have my car parts being shipped FedEx. Even Amazon isn't even this incompetent. Both of them have the same address and a completely different zip code. The zoning is absolute horse shit.
