Wanting to pivot careers, currently work at frontline in insurance, wantung to get into fraud claims or similar to

Hi all, to keep it nice and simple I've been a contact centre agent for two years, 8 of those months I spend on a lengthy and interesting secondment in a different area of the business that was struggling.

I am in Australia, working for one of the larger health insurer companies.

During that secondment I had the amazing opportunity to work with a fraud investigation team on health claims, reviewing, checking, discussing and analysing multiple claims and finding inconsistencies in a large group of suspected fraud cases. It clicked that I enjoyed it, a LOT.

I have an honours degree in history so as you can guess investigating, research and general analysis is a fun thing for me.

Getting back to my point for you all,

I want to go into a fraud career of some sort in insurance. Frontline is killing me and was only meant as a temporary stop over. I was thankful for the secondment I went through and I have started to apply for fraud roles, risk analyst, claims analyst, claims investigators etc.

I figure adding a Cert IV in government investigations just to bolster it as I only have the few months of secondment behind me.

I just want to reach out if there is anybody who does these roles, what path you do? Any advice? If you know of that cert do you believe it's the right one?

Perhaps better wording I can use to bolster that secondment?

Appreciate it ya'll

15 yr old dog hacking up clear liquid

Hello,

I have a 15yr old male cattle dog who has a heart murmur, bad back legs and very very recently was put on a diuretic. He is 27kgs (a little chubby)

\- Furosemide as a diuretic 3x a day,

\- takes Cardisure 1/2 ,

\- half a Panadol twice a day and a

\- general painkiller once a day as needed.

Recently (Sunday) he began coughing/hacking up clear liquid. I recognised this as fluid build up, we took him to the vets and he started on a diuretic.

The hacking up of said liquid went away within 12 hours, however he still every few hours will do a "hacking" or even "heaving" motion as if something is stuck in his throat or he is trying to get something up.

It's only every few hours, also particularly after his done a lot of wandering around the house.

He eats normally, urinates normally.

His breathing rate within a minute when at rest is below 30.

When awake still remains below 30 - 35.

When he hacks etc it can be out of a dead sleep, after walking, even after doing nothing. It's not consistent.

Tldr; dog still doing hacking/heaving motion that almost sounds like a cough even after the diuretic has been in his system for a few days. It's often worse at night, usually goes from sleeping to hacking/coughing, hard breathing for ten minutes then sleeping again.

Fraud analyst/investigations officer job path/questions and guidance pleaseeee

Hi all, to keep it short and sweet,

I've got a BA honours in History, I've worked for an insurance company for two years on the frontlines, have had the opportunity to work in a secondment for 6 months in fraud investigation (reviewing health claims, noting issues etc etc). I also live in Australia.

I got a big taste for it and I've been doing quite a bit of research regarding it however I'm struggling to find an in. Being on the phones/frontlines are draining me mentally a LOT, its damaging. I enjoy the analytical, reviewing and finding said fraud.

I am asking if anybody has any guidance who is in these careers as to my next steps? I am deeply interested in this profession and also so badly burnt out from my current one.

Seeking some (slightly androgynous) corporate/dress shoes

Hey guys, as the title suggests I'm looking for some corporate/work shoes. I'm a bit more androgynous in my dressing style and ideally some sort of boot (almost like a Chelsea boot) or even a nice pattern vintage style lace up shoe etc.

Just everywhere I look these things are quite expensive.

Any suggestions?

Hey guys I've been on monjuro since July last year, previously some nausea, bloating, gerd..

I increased my dose from 10 to 12.5 two weeks ago and for the first time I'm having sulphuric burps, diarrhoea and green stools.

I know these can be common however it made me a bit uneasy having not had it before.

Seeking reassurance or some steps to help it!

I know it's a bit of a strange request. I use to have chickens and I miss them dearly. The last one from my old flock passed recently and I just kind of want to hug a chicken if anybody has any ideas as to where I could go to do this?

Update: such an overwhelming and lovely bunch of responses, thank you so much guys! You've given me plenty of opportunities (I'm taking up a lot of them!)
