Hearing aids getting feedback

My fiancee gets feedback in her hearing aids anytime she lays near my chest.

My ICD is Bluetooth to my phone. Her hearing aids are Bluetooth to her phone and any audio device.

Is there a way to stem this feedback?

Distribution impact on pending ssdi claim

I have some large unexpected expenses I need to resolve. My furnace died last winter. It would be nice if I could stay warm this winter.

I can’t work as per doctor. I have no savings left. My VA disability and SSDI claims are both in process.

How would taking large 401k distributions impact my pending ssdi claim?

Found out how cruel adult children can be

I’ve been up for a few days agonizing how to ask my partner to marry me. Like it is easy to do after loving one lady my entire adult life. Like it was easy to start building a life again from scratch. Like it has been easy. We have 3 children together.

They kept telling me they just wanted me to be happy. I believed them. Then I found out the truth. Not all at once. In retrospect it was little things like paper cuts.

One only texted when they needed money. Never to bring the grandchildren to visit. One rarely ever called because they were very busy. I’m not allowed to watch my grandson without adult supervision. One only Snapchats when she feels like it. They withdrew little bits at a time. They put on plastic faces around me. They stopped visiting me. Then stopped checking on me as my health started to fail. When I lost my mind and attempted the final solution they all freaked out until they were sure I was going to fail in my endeavor. When I ran away they sent the police after me. One came to take me back to my house.

Not home, house. Home is what happens when love walks in a house. Perhaps homelessness is more than being without a roof over your head. One can be homeless even in a house.

I have been absolutely blind to the ironic cruelty of adult children. I loved my wife, their mother, my entire adult life. She was always a saint in their eyes. I loved them before they were born. I guess I’m just an ATM to them. I kept carrying the torch after I lost my wife even when it got so heavy I stopped walking, stopped breathing, stopped living. They would rather I die alone than die after finding love again.

Now going on 50 hours with no sleep I have an impossible decision. I have been places where the locals wanted to kill us for being American. At least they were honest about their hate.

To those on the 1 line north this morning

Much appreciation to those on the 1 line this morning that were delayed because my stupid brain decided to seizure repeatedly.

There was one lady(?, I think) with big black eyes. I only caught a glimpse between seizures. Thank you for your kind voice.

My apologies for scaring people and the big inconvenience.

Ground rod binding to dirt

I have to drop 5 8 ft copper ground rods around my house. What is a good way to get the rods to bind to the soil for an optimal ground?

I am a former Navy electrician. No problem doing electrical work.

Need help preparing for field day GOTA setup

Somehow I opened my mouth volunteering my radio equipment for the GOTA station. I’ve never done a field day.

What all goes into a gota setup?

List: radio, power supply, windows laptop, mic, speaker, ?

What should I know that I don’t know at the moment?

I’m at 23 months out. My health is in very rough shape. She is a widow at 7 years.

We have been long time plutonic friends. There was no intention of getting emotionally involved. I wasn’t looking and it happened. We “this is not a date” ended up being a date. She will likely move into my home in September.

Is there anything I should know?
