Has anyone noticed any change in their sleep after starting creatine?

Creatine is usually discussed for its effects on strength and exercise performance, but I'm curious whether anyone has noticed any changes in their sleep after starting it.

I'm just wondering if you noticed any difference at all. If you did, do you think the timing of your dose made a difference?

I'd be interested to hear other people's experiences.

Did fixing your vitamin D deficiency affect your exercise performance?

I'm curious if anyone here noticed a difference after correcting a vitamin D deficiency.

If you were getting back to exercise after an illness, surgery or even just a long break, did anything feel different once your vitamin D levels improved?

I'm not talking about getting stronger overnight, but did your workouts feel less draining or do you think it was mostly because you became active again?

I'd be interested to hear other people's experiences.

Has magnesium glycinate ever given you more vivid dreams?

I've come across people who say they noticed more vivid dreams after starting magnesium glycinate.

If that happened to you, was it consistent or just something you noticed occasionally?

Did the timing make any difference, like taking it earlier in the evening versus right before bed?

Did magnesium glycinate actually make a noticeable difference for you?

People take magnesium glycinate for a lot of different reasons and the experiences seem to vary quite a bit.

If you've used it, did you notice a clear difference or was it fairly subtle?

What stood out the most for you? Is it sleep, stress, muscle cramps, recovery or something completely different?

I'm especially interested in hearing what people actually noticed.

Women who take creatine, what did you notice first?

Most discussions about creatine seem to focus on men, so I'm curious to hear from women who have actually used it.

What, if anything, did you notice after you started taking it? Better workouts, strength, recovery, body composition or something else entirely?

I'm curious to hear experiences outside of the usual bodybuilding perspectives.

Why is vitamin D such a big deal in sports nutrition?

Vitamin D seems to come up in sports nutrition discussions more than almost any other vitamin.

I'm curious why you think that is. Is it because vitamin D deficiency is relatively common, because athletes are more likely to have their levels checked or for another reason?

Why do you think vitamin D gets so much attention in sports nutrition?

Does anyone pay more attention to magnesium when they're sweating a lot?

I've noticed that when people talk about replacing electrolytes after training or working in the heat, the discussion usually focuses on sodium and potassium.

Do you find yourself paying more attention to magnesium as well or do you treat it as a separate issue?

I'm interested to hear what others have experienced.

Do you actually need to cycle creatine?

I've seen a lot of mixed opinions on creatine cycling.

If someone is tolerating creatine well, is there any reason to stop and start it or is cycling no longer considered necessary?

I'm curious to hear what people's experiences have been.

Does getting plenty of sun really mean your vitamin D is fine?

I've noticed that whenever vitamin D comes up, people often say, "Just get more sun."

But it doesn't always seem that straightforward. Things like where you live, season, what time you're outside, how much skin is exposed and even your daily routine can all play a role.

Has anyone here had low vitamin D despite feeling like they got plenty of sun?

Does splitting magnesium glycinate make any difference?

I've noticed some people take their magnesium glycinate all at once before bed, while others split it between morning and evening.

Is there any good evidence that one approach is better than the other, or does it mostly come down to personal preference?

I'd be interested to hear real-world experiences.

Is lifestyle the most overlooked part of the vitamin D discussion?

It seems like most vitamin D discussions end up being about the right dose.

While, things like work schedule, time spent outdoors, clothing, sunscreen and where someone lives don't seem to get as much attention, even though they can all influence vitamin D status.

Does anyone else feel like those factors get overlooked?

Does magnesium glycinate really need to be taken on its own?

I've been wondering if it really matters whether magnesium glycinate is taken by itself or with minerals like zinc, iron or calcium.

A lot of multivitamins combine minerals, so the advice around timing can get confusing.

Does separating them actually make a noticeable difference or is it not something most people need to worry about?

Does body weight actually change how much creatine you need?

I've seen mixed opinions on this.

Larger people may have greater creatine stores, but does that actually mean they need a higher daily dose or are the standard recommendations enough for most?

I'm Curious to hear what people have found, especially if you've seen research or have real-world experience with different body sizes.

Can you have a healthy lifestyle and still be low in vitamin D?

One thing I've found interesting is that someone can exercise regularly, eat healthy diet and maintain a normal body weight, yet still have low vitamin D levels.

It seems like vitamin D status isn't always obvious from someone's overall lifestyle.

Has anyone been surprised by their vitamin D levels despite doing most things right?

Does coffee affect magnesium glycinate absorption?

I was wondering whether caffeine has any meaningful effect on magnesium glycinate or if the timing doesn't really make much difference.

For those who take both regularly, have you noticed any difference when taking them together versus spacing them apart?

Vitamin K2 Supplementation May Curb Coronary Calcification

TL;DR

• This recent study looked at people with pre-existing coronary artery disease who took either vitamin K2 (MK-7) or a placebo for two years.

• Compared with the placebo group, the K2 group had slower progression of coronary artery calcification.

• The findings are encouraging, but they don't show that K2 reduces heart attacks or improves survival.

• Studies looking at actual clinical outcomes are still needed before routine K2 supplementation can be recommended for people with heart disease.

Does Creatine Cause Hair Loss? What the Evidence Says

Just sharing and looking for input from the community.

TL;DR: The idea that creatine causes hair loss mostly comes from one small study that found an increase in DHT, but it didn't actually measure hair loss. Since then, the evidence hasn't consistently supported that finding, and newer research hasn't shown creatine to increase hair loss or negatively affect hair health. At this point, there's no strong evidence that creatine causes hair loss.
