Introducing food allergens?

Did you raise baby fully vegan or introduced the top 9 allergens just to be safe. I want to raise my son vegan but nervous of him accidentally eating something non vegan out of the house and him being allergic to it. I’m thinking eggs and dairy mainly. How did you go about this when introducing solids.

Multiple nicknames

My son’s name is Theodore James, I loved all the nicknames that come with it. While I was pregnant everyone asked what we were going to call him and I told them whatever you feel fits him best. I call him Teddy or Theodore his dad usually calls him Theo or Theodore my dad calls him Ted lol we also put TJ out there for a nickname. Is this normal or do people normally pick it one? I think it’s fun to have people choose what resonates with them.

Meniscus surgery with baby

During pregnancy I tore my meniscus and my orthopedic doctor says I need to have surgery. I’m going to be in a straight brace for 2 weeks and a bending brace for 4-6 weeks. I am able to choose when I get the surgery but I don’t know when the best time would be with the baby! My partner is able to be home the first two weeks and I’m not in pain so it’s more how old my baby should be during that time. Sooner? Later? He is currently 6 weeks old

5 week old

My 5 week old baby seems to be nursing less than normal. I can’t tell if his nursing sessions are shortening because he is more effective at getting enough milk or if something else is going on. He keeps falling asleep while nursing before it’s even been 10 minutes. Another thought I am having is we recently introduced a pacifier could that be effecting his nursing too. Just looking for some advice
