First ever mock done today, exam in 26 days. Do i have time?

My first mock score, obviously i did practice but idk how to improve everything else. I’m not sure how i got 730 in qr as everything i did felt wrong but now i will work on perfecting my dm and any tips for vr? I feel so stupid reading the passages over and over again.
I’m a serial procrastinator btw which is why i started so late, but i’m aiming for 2400 B2, any tips greatly appreciated :)

AIO for wanting to ask my boyfriend to scroll through his phone for me because he keeps being scared of it being unlocked.

I just want to start this off saying that i do in no way support partners going into each others phones secretly, as i feel like at that point you’ve lost trust in them and therefore the relationship is weak. I’ve been with my boyfriend for over a year now and he’s always been a private person, and i have too, so for me there’s never been a thought of breaking his privacy and going through his phone as i wouldn’t like the same done to me. Recently however, my boyfriend goes absolutely crazy if his phone is left next to me, even if it’s locked. He’ll put it on dnd and then go shower, when i ask him about it he just says he doesn’t want his mum to text him. Ok, fine.

However i feel like he’s gone too excessive. One time he had left his phone unlocked next to me and walked to the toilet, remembered, and then lunged at the phone pushing it on the floor. I’ve never been suspicious of him but this erratic behaviour for absolutely no reason makes me so suspicious and i feel so bad i don’t trust him. He won’t even screen-share because i quote ‘I don’t want to accidentally show private conversations between me and my friends’ I asked him to screen share as he had found an old conversation we had and i really wanted to see it, and he refused which is fair because i don’t want to force him. The last time he screen-shared (Really early on i think before we were even in a relationship) his phone he had went on his call log and i had seen his ex’s name, he said that it was someone else (his friends girl) that had called him to see where his friends was. I don’t want to say he lies to me because i love him and i feel as if i’m speaking behind his back, but he will say something, then if it’s brought up later by me he will turn around and say that never happened. Sometimes i feel like I’m imagining things. He tells me that sometimes i like to start problems for no reason and i feel so bad i treat him like that so i just leave any problem that was on my mind.

These days because of this behaviour i’ve just been so suspicious and i really want to ask him if he could just scroll through his phone, but i know he’ll blow up at me and call me crazy. So should i double down and ask to see his phone or just give him his privacy? AIO for feeling like this? I feel like i’m crazy for even posting this but i’m just unsure on what to do, is this normal in relationships? As this is my first.

Any extra timers struggling? How much do you guys get?

Before anyone says i’m so advantaged to have extra time, just know it makes no difference to my score 🥲 i get 25% with rest breaks due to my learning disability and i’m still struggling. i’m proud of myself though as i was told i’d never be able to complete higher education and i shouldn’t even try to be a doctor but i said whatever let me give it a shot. How are we coping guys?

My mum refuses to pray towards the qibla

So for context, we moved into this flat in 2018 and the landlord said the qibla is facing towards one of the windows. I grew up praying in that direction and didn’t question it too till one of my friends came over a month ago and got used the qibla app to pray in a different direction. I downloaded the app and saw it for myself and realised i’ve been praying wrong this whole time, towards north east.

When i told my mum she immediately started shouting at me and saying i’m wrong, i feel bad as she is very religious and this invalidates all her prayers, she won’t listen to anything i say and says the apps are wrong and i’m too young to understand. What do i do? She’s very stubborn and is unlikely to listen to me.

She also believes the government is purposely changing it and refuses to get help for these thoughts, please pray for her.

What should i do about my alevel exams?

So i’m in year 12, and i’ve been homeschooled ever since year 11 ended. This was due to my fathers death and i stayed home to help my mum around as she was slowly becoming more unstable. Recently, she’s been spiralling and even kicked me out, i’m with the council now going back and forth through care houses 🥲 but honestly i’m more concerned about my education.

As i’m sitting it privately my mum was going to pay for me to sit it at an exam centre, (i do bio chem psych) but ever since then now she won’t. I was wondering if there are any scholarships or bursaries i could apply to, so it can help me with my education? For the exams and also the practical endorsements its looking at around 4k and also to get my predicted grades to apply for october (medicine application) i’d have to pay extra. I’m trying to find a job but finding a job as a student is so hard, i thought about joining a college or sixth form but they would make me redo the whole of year 12, when i feel like i’m perfectly capable now, and delaying it will keep making me feel worse.

Sorry for the sob story but i can’t sleep at night due to the stress, but does anyone know cheap places in london i can privately sit my alevels and do practical endorsements and get predicted grades (I’m asking for a lot but i have no one) or scholarships i can apply for, or even schools willing to take me in 💔

How long does it take to recover from a liquid bbl?

Hi so i’m just going to be blunt about it here because I’m embarrassed to ask the practitioner, but how long after a liquid bbl do you wait till you can have sex again? I’m thinking of getting around 600ml-800ml for reference, and also recommend good clinics!

Edit: dk what i did to get disliked but i js struggle with social anxiety so if it doesn’t seem like a lot to you to ask, it is to me and i’ll be thinking about it for days.

Ucat extra time?

Hi all, so i did the ucat in 2025 but now it’s my sisters turn, she qualifies for 50% extra time at her school due to a health condition so i wanted to know how would applying for extra time in the ucat work? I heard they are really fussy and won’t usually accept 50% extra time. I didn’t apply for extra time last year so i have no clue :(

Do unis care if you redo year 12?

So not resitting, but instead redoing year 12 due to a health issue. Does this mean unis would look down on the application? Specifically london unis (can only go london unis) can a list of names be given that dont care? Thanks!

How do we manage med school and life?

Med school being 6 years and then 2 years of foundation training makes me so sad, my bf finishes uni 3 years earlier than me and wants to get married when i’m in my 5th/6th year. It’s always been my dream to get married and have children but i feel like it will be so hard during uni, (and kids deffo after uni) i know people who have had children during their 6th hear but it sounds impossible to manage that ontop of medicine. With the 12 hour night shifts in foundation training too. Sometimes i wish i was a man because it feels like you can fully focus on your career, and everyone around me makes me feel like i’m too old and too behind :/

I returned to prayer

I’ve recently started praying again, i grew up as a muslim but for 18 years i’ve never been consistent with my prayer for longer than two weeks even during ramadan. I feel a sense now that i found myself and i feel so spiritual, i’m just happy and wanted to tell someone! Thank you

Does anyone know any good bbl london clinics? I’ve seen clinicblvd and their results look very good but I haven’t seen any reviews online. If anyone can share their experience that would be amazing

For context, me and my friend both applied to the same unis, and we got all of our interviews. After every interview she would persistently spam my phone and beg me to tell her the interview questions, and what to prepare for. I started to distance myself from her a few months ago after this, but we recently had a talk again. I had found out that she had gotten the interview questions from her friend who interviewed at ucl and st georges before her. I wish she didn’t tell me because now i just feel so put off by her, she got all her offers back and is firming ucl, i’m happy that she has gotten a spot but something in me makes me feel bad for others who were rejected by these unis as this wasn’t really a fair shot. I don’t think im ever going to talk to her again after alevels but yeah thats all i wanted to say xx
