I know valve released the files but its the full controller and not just the shell. Does anyone have just the shell which theoraticcly would be shell swatch ready?
I really really want a desktop mode but I can’t seem to find it in videos. Does it have one so you can install cust application?

From SOON to NOW
I want to build a new PC. I already have a GPU (RTX 3060 12GB) and a 1TB NVMe SSD; I will take these parts from the prebuilt PC I am using now. I know that if I upgrade the CPU, I will also need to upgrade the motherboard, PSU, and RAM. My current prebuilt is an IdeaCentre Gaming 5 17IAB7 (i5-12400F, 16GB DDR4, RTX 3060 12GB, 1TB NVMe, a Lenovo motherboard made specifically for this PC, and a 300W–500W PSU). Please help me pick the CPU that is best for gaming and coding (including modding, game development, and other small programs).
Edit: I picked these CPU‘s vecause they both fit in my budget. This is going to be my first upgrade since I got the pc I think 3-4 Years ago. I will probably not switch the cpu again in the next 3 years but I consider getting a 5060 TI
