Apparently it’s worth more if it’s seasonal

$8.75 and $7.75 for leggings that were $6.98 new at Walmart. They also had two of these Mickey pumpkin arch things that were originally $314.60, and even at $200 nobody has bought them.

$180 for this crusty couch

Every piece of furniture at my local St. Vinny’s is absurdly overpriced, but this couch takes the cake. $180.50 for a worn out, saggy, faded couch with gross white drips marks (2nd and 3rd pic)
No wonder it’s been sitting there for 2 months.

Scotch-Brite sponges

I’ve been using these sponges my entire adult life and just opened a new pack from Costco. I immediately noticed it seemed very thin and luckily still had some of the old pack left and did a comparison. The first interesting thing I noted was that the dimensions listed on the package both said 17 mm thick. However, the sponges in the older package were almost 25 mm thick. The new ones were in fact 17 mm. Kinda seems like there were trying to cover their asses by changing the packaging before they changed the sponge. Pretty shady if you ask me.

I know what I have

My local St. Vinny’s seems to think they’re a furniture and/or antique store with the way they price furniture. If I had almost $500 to spend on a couch, I wouldn’t be buying a used one with unknown history. This place routinely prices couches and large dressers for hundreds of dollars. 2nd photo is some of the scuffs on it. They also had the matching loveseat for $275 🙄

Brünhilde had to come home

I left her behind the first time I saw her, but when I came back a week later, she was still there, so I think it was meant to be.

On a recipe for Garlic Butter Cod Florentine with White Wine Cream Sauce

The creator of this recipe is encouraging this person to use coconut milk instead of heavy cream and white grape juice instead of 3/4 cup of DRY white wine.

It’s a stick

A roughly 10 inch birch stick for $6.60. I probably have at least a half dozen of these in my backyard.

Tieghan Gerard HBH fondling food for 4 full slides

This needed to be captured. The longer this went on the more satirical it felt, I was in disbelief 😂. The last one was my personal favorite.

I’d also like to know how anyone is supposed to eat that stupid sandwich.

The recipe has “everything” as the first word in the title. Sesame seeds would be a fairly logical substitute to do for this recipe, except it’s the recipe creator that doesn’t have the ingredient. Then in the ingredients list apparently the everything seasoning is optional, so what is this recipe even?

I recommend not clicking the link because the number of ads will probably crash your browser.
