Anyone use Toss Banking?

Does their internet banking come in English? How's the UI? Do they have a wide variety of banking products and services ie mortgages, credit cards etc at competitive rates? Is there customer service available in English?

Do they also have an investment arm for stocks? US stocks too?

Do younger Koreans now have a gaydar?

Does this generation now understand what's considered gay from a western perspective? Or more specifically an American perspective. Some of the responses sounds as if they do... like when one guy said "the pose looks gay"

I've seen this type of video format in America. Never seen it in Korea until now.... it's kinda funny tbh

‘Sexual services’ for referees scandal rocks South Korea’s top football body

The article reports that South Korea's football federation (KFA) is facing a major scandal after allegations surfaced that officials arranged sexual entertainment for foreign referees before several international matches in 2011 and 2012, including qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup and 2012 Olympics. The claims are based on records from a government audit and credit card spending reports that allegedly showed federation funds being used at massage parlors. According to reports, around 20 referees were involved across at least seven matches. The KFA has issued a public apology, saying the incidents occurred more than a decade ago and do not reflect current practices.

Anyone successfully report getting hit by a car as a pedestrian or biker? Is it worth the hassle?

I was going through a crosswalk since it was a pedestrian green light. There were other pedestrians with me and I was on a city bicycle. As I am about to get to the other side a car comes to a screeching halt at the last lane. He crossed well over his stop line and onto the area marked for pedestrian crossing. I was on my phone and I immediately hit the front brakes so the back of my bike lifted. I did not hit the car, he was probably still 2m away. I didn't fall to the ground but I was definitely lifted in the air and landed awkwardly (ankle). My bag and tumbler fell on the ground and my tumbler cracked.

I know I can still report this even though he didn't make contact with me because I reacted to his last second braking. There appeared to be a city camera there when I checked. I wrote down his license plate.

What should I expect if I decide to go to the police with this? Is this going to brushed off as a foreigner? Is the process long and tedious? I know me being on my phone isn't going to be an issue cause I've seen many instances of this on Korean accident videos where they still go after the driver.

I'm guess I'm asking whether its worth the hassle to file this? I bought that tumble 2 weeks ago for 40,000.

Has anyone made a police report after getting hit by a car as a pedestrian/cyclist? What was the process w/police + insurance?

I was on a bike at a very busy intersection and I was crossing a small crosswalk to get to the small corner triangle island/waiting area before crossing the street. Some car who was making a right clipped the wheel of my bike and just continued to drive off. I was on the crosswalk first yet he still went ahead. I have a small tweak in my back nothing crazy.

I've had a few close calls with cars before where I got knicked but I just never cared to report them. Now I'm just fed up cause I had a few close calls in the past month and wanna report this guy.

What's the likelihood of CCTVs catching this guy cause it wasn't at the middle of the intersection but at the corner pedestrian crosswalk. And I recall there was a crosswalk + bike lane to cross to the corner island. Would I get dinged because I didn't get off my bike and drag my bike along the small crosswalk? Not sure what the rules are...

Koreans reacting to foreign professor complaining about his miserable life in Korea

Foreign Professor:

Why do people immigrate? People immigrate to find a better life. I earn 3M won and send 2.5M won of it to my family back and they live well. My life is miserable in Korea

Korean:

In our country we have the family accompaniment system F-2-R system which is a residency visa designed to encourage foreigners to live and work in areas of Korea that are losing population.

Foreigner:

But there is no welfare…

Koreans:

We have no answers for this guy... (Overwhelmed by his logic)

Interesting numbers coming out of the younger demographics for both men and women in Seoul

In the Seoul mayoral election, 75.3% of 18-29 men voted PPP (Conservative Party), exceeding even the 70+ group, historically Korea’s most conservative cohort.

Even 18-29 young women voted 41.4% for the PPP.

Young men are now South Korea’s most right-wing demographic.

Make it happen.... Let's GOOOOOO

A talent like this would have never been on Roma's radar. He is so undervalued at 50-60M because of his past... probably worth closer to 100M.

What is it with Koreans and their level of Darwinism when riding a motorcycle, bicycle or e-scooter

Forget the fact the car was speeding but how do you just cross the intersection like that on a bike?

I've seen so many clips of Koreans just having absolutely no sense on a bicycle or e-scooter/kickboard...

We should be very wary of Hellas Verona

They came back and tied Inter 1-1 yesterday. In their last 5 matches have only conceded 4 goals, tied Inter and Juve.

I am not as concerned about losing Ndicka as I am bout losing Wesley because this could be a frustrating match offensively.
