Does anyone know if DNA has plans for an 86’ Shockwave upgrade kit?

Does anyone know if DNA has plans for an 86’ Shockwave upgrade kit?

Just picked him up and started some custom paint work (very WIP so bits are a little messy)
He’s cool overall, the purple tone is absolutly perfect, though the lackluster alt-mode and being too short in scale with Megs and Soundwave made me hope DNA can put together something to make the figure pop a little more. Anyone know if it’s in the works?

Appropriate that I hit my 1st draft 50% 50K goal at the climax of the smuttiest scene of the book so far

Does anyone have specific visual inspirations for the tone of their writing?

I realized recently that I imagine the scenes in my novel in a way very visually inspired by the style of Seasons 1&2 of The Boys. The sort of bleak palate and grimy color grading the first seasons kept keep popping into my head, where light is acrid and bitter but shadows deep and seething. It’s the visual language of corporate decay and human rot, a world drained of life by parasites above and predators below.
It just really does it for me in a way I find inspiring for my specific project.

Would love to hear what inspires y’all’s projects in a similar way!

Goddamn that post-writer’s block clarity feels so good

This week marked the best progress I’ve made in my ‘scarerotic’ romatic horror novel in months! I’m gonna update my instagram weekly to keep myself accountable, but wanted to celebrate the big first update here too!

Need to ride this wave to ~100k, then it’ll be time to hunt for an editor

Recommendations for books to help get a better feel for pacing that the audience will respond to, specifically in the smutty horror/dark romance space?

So I’m pretty deep into my first full length novel, a smutty horror/dark romantic thriller, and it’s gotten good feedback so far from those who’ve read it.

However, something that’s been bothering me is the pacing. I’ve found myself incredibly invested in the introspective character beats along with the selling-point kinky sex scenes (I love using those for character development, when they’re the most vulnerable, mask-off version of themselves). I’m confidant in the prose and I’ve been given good feedback on how compelling the characters are, but I am concerned my scenes are unbalanced and could leave readers wanting more or less of certain beats.

I think this might be because I spend more time reading classic/gothic/creature-feature horror than contemporary horror/romance, so I’m not sure I have a good feel for how the modern reader expects the story to flow.

I’d love some recommendations for great examples of that kind of pacing or advice on how to balance scene length and forward momentum!

Still working out kinks with the actual model before I print the whole thing, but super happy with the results so far! Printed with a Bambu Labs P1S, used PLA for the prototyping but gonna use ABS for the final print. I’m planning on adding LEDs from evandesigns.com to make the gem glow!

Would love some tips on getting the printed species smooth for the metallic painting
