A few friends and I started getting back into competitive Pokemon recently and one thing we noticed pretty fast was how fragmented everything feels. We’d constantly have like 6 tabs open at once, one for damage calcs, another for type matchups, another for showdown imports, another for looking up terminology, and then random reddit threads for team ideas.

We originally just wanted to make something small for ourselves that pulled everything together into one place, but it slowly turned into a full on project. Right now the site has a team analyzer for checking weaknesses/resistances and overall coverage, a team randomizer that’s honestly become one of the most fun parts of the site, a stat calculator, showdown builder tools, and guides explaining common competitive terms for newer or returning players.

The randomizer especially surprised me, having just come back into pokemon I thought this would be completely imbalanced but my friends managed to make it somewhat balanced if you have the right parameters.

Most of the tools are free because the original idea was just making something useful for the community and for ourselves.

Full disclosure though: we also built a streaming/creator tool connected to the site that’s paid, mainly because it costs us money to keep improving and running everything.

Still feels like there are a ton of gaps in the Pokémon teambuilding space though. Curious what features or tools people here wish existed that currently don’t.
