I think it’s not that bad…

I’m still thinking of being a flight attendant. Honestly, I think my fear isn’t THAT bad. I remember that a girl at uni was throwing up in the bathroom and I asked her if she was okay. I saw this kid at the front of a perfume store puke and honestly I did feel uncomfortable but I didn’t panic too much. When my little cousin was a baby she proyectiled on me when I was 12. (She was a baby so what she had in her tummy was milk so it didn’t bother me too much.) When I visualize myself in a plane I do think that it won’t be that bad. (Easier said than done lol.) I don’t know. What do you guys think? Is that bad or not?

This is my opinion as someone who’s Puerto Rican.

If you support ICE and you’re Puerto Rican, I’m sorry but you’re a total loser. I said what I said. Yes, we are American citizens, but we are also Latinos, and Latinos support each other. If you support ICE despite being Puerto Rican it comes off as privileged and you don’t know what other Latino immigrants are going through in order to have a better life. We Puerto Ricans have that privilege today, but what if tomorrow we don’t have that privilege? That’s why we shouldn’t stay quiet when ICE is separating families.

I really want to be a flight attendant.

I know that I have the potential of being a great flight attendant. BUT my biggest weakness is vomit and that’s the thing that it’s making me not want to apply. I’m sure if something happens I’d have to clean it. I can handle blood, mucus, baby spit (It’s like puke but it’s just milk that didn’t get digested, for some reason it doesn’t gross me out), urine…

But vomit is the thing that’s really taking me out. Weirdly enough, I can watch people puking in videos or in movies and I can say the word “vomit” too. And talk about it.

Edit: I’m glad that a lot of you guys are really kind to me, thank you. 🥺💗

Edit #2: I think I can be better with therapy! If I can handle blood, I can handle vomit! I’ll fight with my fear.

Hey guys! I wanted to become a flight attendant but there’s some circumstances.

I wanted to become a flight attendant but there’s was circumstances that made me feel like I couldn’t do it. I’m now considering being a flight dispatcher, however I have ADHD and to me that’s a big problem since I read somewhere that if something happens to the plane it will be 50% your responsibility and 50% the pilot’s.

However, I am a fast learner. Is it structured? And something you do over and over again? Because if it’s that then perfect.

I really want to work as a flight attendant but at the same time I don’t want to apply.

But vomit is the thing that’s really taking me out. For the flight attendants seeing this please give me advice. (And yes, I’m considering therapy.)😔

PS: I can watch people puking in videos or in movies tho and I can say the word “vomit” too.
